Sandi didn’t rush into her response. Instead, she turned to gauge Makiko's reaction. Without Makiko chiming in, Sandi felt she couldn't decide on her own.
Makiko finally spoke, “Josefina, thank you so much, but I think Nene will sit this one out.”
Josefina gave a warm smile, “Whenever Nene wants to join us at work, just let me know. I think it’d be a fantastic opportunity for her. She’s got a bright future ahead.”
Just then, the sales assistant returned the black card, with the clothes neatly packed up.
“Thanks, sis-in-law,” Sandi said, beaming with joy. At fifteen, what girl doesn’t love a few new pretty outfits?
Josefina then led the way to a men's store to pick out clothes for Cole and Wilder. Once they finished there, Josefina and Livia made their way to the fashion company.
“Josie, you’re not planning on getting me some clothes too, are you?” Livia teased with a playful grin.
“We’ve just launched a bridal collection. Since you’re here, why not try some on?”
Livia didn’t slow down, letting out a laugh, “Sure, I’ll give it a try. Your designs must be stunning, and trying them on doesn’t cost a thing.”
Josefina chuckled, joining her inside.
…
Livia slipped into a white wedding gown, and even without makeup, she was breathtaking.
“Livia, you look stunning in that. It fits you perfectly,” Josefina said sincerely.
Just then, a man's voice broke in from behind Josefina, full of admiration.
“Livia, you’re so beautiful, it’s like an angel just came down to earth,” Finley exclaimed, sounding a bit out of place.
Oliver awkwardly explained, “I bumped into him outside, and when I mentioned I was coming to see you, he decided to join, hoping to get your help in meeting Livia.”
And that’s how they all ended up here.
Finley, wearing a white down jacket, walked slowly towards Livia, his gaze fixed on her.
He stopped, taking in Livia’s beauty.
Livia flashed a charming, alluring smile, “Do I look pretty?”
