Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1019

Oliver was scratching his head, trying to wrap his mind around what Grandpa Robert was saying.

“My granddad always said you still had a hint of your old self, but your personality’s changed a bunch,” Oliver replied, looking a bit puzzled.

Grandpa Robert chuckled at the memory. “You, Cole, were a fiery one, like a wild mustang that couldn’t be tamed. Who’d have thought a person could change so much?”

While Grandpa Robert was lost in his memories, Oliver exchanged a glance with Josefina, both of them staying silent.

Hattie, on the other hand, was a bit worried about Josefina. “Josie, Oliver, do you guys see Cole often?”

Josefina shook her head. “Not really. I’m staying at Oliver’s estate, and Cole’s family lives with Grandpa.”

Hattie seemed relieved by this answer. As long as they weren’t in constant contact, there shouldn’t be any issues.

The family sat down and enjoyed a hearty meal together. Oliver decided to stay over, spending the night with Josefina.

This was Oliver’s first time staying in Josefina’s room so openly. Oliver walked in through the front door, his eyes darting around with curiosity.

Josefina laughed. “What’s up? Feeling like a stranger here?”

“It’s just different being here with your blessing,” Oliver said, plopping down on the couch.

Josefina chuckled at his antics and pulled out a couple of sets of pajamas for Oliver, hanging them in the wardrobe. “Your pajamas are here. Take a shower and get some rest.”

She placed Oliver’s clothes on the bed before heading into the bathroom herself. Just as she started undressing, Oliver wandered in.

“Oliver! I’m in the shower!” Josefina exclaimed, her face turning crimson.
