Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1028

Oliver took a deep breath and said, "Hey Cole, Makiko, Josie's company is about to launch some new accessories. The first batch is ready, and she brought a few samples home. Let's see if you guys like them."

As he spoke, Harry came in, handing out gifts to everyone. From Brandon to Sandi, no one was left out. Even Rowan received a gift.

Rowan's eyes filled with surprise as he looked at the gift, then glanced cautiously at Oliver and Josefina. Was this really for him? From Oliver and Josefina? He was both touched and a bit guilty. Those cufflinks—they might as well have been treasures.

Josefina gave Brandon a brooch, Cole got cufflinks, Makiko received a beautiful bracelet, while Sandi’s gift was a string of beads that she immediately adored.

Sandi slipped it on with a smile, "Thanks for the gift, Josie. I love it."

Josefina replied with a warm smile, "I'm glad you do."

She had put a lot of thought into these gifts. How could they not love them?

...

Oliver and Josefina returned to the Harrison family home. The Harrisons were as welcoming as ever, especially towards Josefina. Oliver found himself nudged out as the family gathered around Josefina.

Hattie, holding a pair of unfinished baby shoes, exclaimed, "Josie, check out these baby shoes I'm making. I even had a lesson from a craftsman, spent the whole day learning!"

"Mom, you shouldn't tire yourself out. We can always buy shoes. Don't overwork yourself," Josefina gently advised.

Hattie beamed at her daughter's concern, "Oh, my dear Josie, nothing beats the comfort of homemade shoes. I only make them when I have time, so don't worry."

Emily pulled out a small embroidered baby bib, "Whatever the little one likes, I'll stitch it on."

With that, Reid offered a piece of candy. Dorian’s stoic expression almost cracked.

Oliver chuckled, curious about Dorian’s plans with a children's songbook. No one had heard him sing before; the idea of him with nursery rhymes was hard to imagine.

Calix scratched his head, "Dorian, that's quite a choice. Why not sing us a little tune?"

Dorian shot Calix a frosty glare, prompting him to pretend he was admiring Josefina’s art on the wall.

Dorian stated, "Don’t question my teaching methods. Wait until Josie’s child is here, and you’ll see."

The whole family was intrigued. Would Dorian, with his stern demeanor, turn the child into a mini version of himself? They were so curious, they wished Josefina could have the baby right now, just to see what kind of little character Dorian would mold.
