"Master, thanks for all your hard work."
"Oh, it's no trouble at all. I'll hang up now."
Josefina ended the call with a sigh of relief.
...
Just as Josefina was leaving the hospital, her phone buzzed with a call from Mr. Marquez.
"Hey there, big boss! Got a sec to drop by the school?"
Mr. Marquez sounded a bit nervous, like he was trying too hard to be polite, and his voice took on a slightly amusing high pitch.
"What's going on?"
"Well, here's the deal. We don't have a medical club at school, and after chatting with some of the leaders, we thought you'd be perfect to lead it. What do you say?"
Josefina was momentarily taken aback.

"Absolutely, I promise. No shortcuts." Mr. Marquez sounded thrilled.
"I'll head over to the school now. Let's chat face-to-face."
Josefina ended the call.

"I need to swing by the principal's office. Got some things to sort out."
"Thanks, sis!"
Josefina couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by Mandy's enthusiasm and gently nudged her away.
"I gotta head out now."
Parting ways with Mandy, Josefina made her way to Mr. Marquez’s office.
Just as she reached the door, it swung open before she could even knock.
She was caught off guard for a moment.
"I’ve been watching for you through the peephole. Finally, you’re here! Come on in," Mr. Marquez said, grinning like he’d been eagerly waiting.
Josefina walked in, and Mr. Marquez softly closed the door behind her.
"Please, have some water," he said, gesturing to a table loaded with tea, coffee, and even some snacks.
Josefina felt a bit awkward with all the fuss. "Principal, you really didn’t need to go to all this trouble."
Mr. Marquez settled into a chair, his mood a mix of excitement and mystery as he began to speak...
