Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1080

Mr. Marquez sure knows how to hit you where it hurts. Ah, the struggles of college life, especially when you haven't even ventured into the real world yet!

Michael plopped down, flashing a grin that showcased his charming dimples. "Come on, Uncle, lend us a hand, will ya?"

Mr. Marquez just gave him a look. "Don't think you can sweet-talk me."

He preferred to keep their connection under wraps—way too much drama otherwise.

Michael pushed his case further, "Principal, if our project takes off, it'll be a feather in your cap, right? Proof that your leadership is top-notch and your school churns out talent. You'd be proud, wouldn't you?"

Austin jumped in, "Absolutely, super proud!"

"Exactly! So, help us out, Principal!"

"Principal, I've got a sixty-year-old mom and a toddler niece depending on me. My whole family's counting on me to bring home the bacon."

"Principal, I'm the only college student from my village. Everyone pitched in to get me here. If I make it, I want to give back and improve life for everyone back home."

Mr. Marquez sighed, feeling outmaneuvered by these clever students. "Alright, folks, let's wrap this up. I've got a meeting to catch."

He worried Josefina's secret might slip, so he quickly got up to leave. "Since you all seem to have a knack for this, why don't you take over as principal?" With that, Mr. Marquez made a hasty exit.

Austin grumbled, "Look at that! We scared the principal off. Someone might think we were twisting his arm or something."

She asked, "What do you need them for?"

Michael explained, "We've got a project lined up and need someone with solid technical skills for consultation. We haven't found the right person yet, so we thought we'd ask here."

Josefina got it. "What's the issue? Maybe you can tell me about it first."

Her offer made the guys exchange curious glances. They were skeptical. Could Josefina really handle this? Wasn't she a med student? Since when did she dabble in computers?

They kept their thoughts to themselves, though, as Michael, the leader, took the reins. "Alright, let me show you."

He opened his laptop, putting it in front of Josefina. As she started to type, Austin blurted out, "Hold up!"
