Josefina and Jackie strolled into the room where Albert was in the middle of a tense meeting with the tech team. Jackie gave a light tap on the door. When Albert spotted who was peeking in, he frowned slightly. “Jackie, what are you doing here again? I thought I asked you to keep an eye out and stay outside for now.”
Jackie chuckled, his smile as bright as a sunny day. “Hey, it’s not me crashing the meeting—it’s the boss.”
Josefina stepped in, and the room's atmosphere shifted from surprise to delight.
“Boss, what brings you here?” Albert asked, clearly taken aback.
Josefina walked in, and Jackie quietly closed the door behind her and stepped out. Albert quickly grabbed a chair, wiped it down twice with a tissue, and gestured for Josefina to sit down.
“Boss, Rhett has teamed up with Idea Tech to help Wilder. Without Rhett, Wilder wouldn't have achieved what he has,” Albert explained.
“Well, no matter who Wilder ropes in, the fact that he can bring them on board is a testament to his skills. You all should focus on building up your expertise and skills. With the right abilities, you can tackle anything.”
“You’re spot on, boss. We get it,” Albert nodded, and the rest chimed in with their thoughts.
“Boss, we’re not worried. With you leading us, we can handle any challenge.”
“You’re our rock, boss.”
“With you here, I feel secure.”
“They might have Rhett, but we’ve got you, boss. Rhett’s got nothing on you.”
Josefina almost blushed at all the praise. “Oh, come on, don’t jinx it! What if I end up losing to Rhett?” she laughed, covering her face with playful embarrassment.
Albert chuckled, “Even if you did lose to Rhett, it’d just be sheer luck on his part.”
