Reid chimed in, "Hey, it wasn't me who fixed Robot One; that was all my sister. It was frozen and malfunctioning, but she figured it out."
Everyone was suddenly in the loop, and their expressions were priceless—no one saw that coming from Reid's sister.
One of the guys shouted, "Wow, the boss's sister is here! You're seriously amazing!"
All eyes shifted to Josefina standing there.
Reid strolled over, grinning ear to ear, "Hey sis, what brings you here?"
"Reid, I just wanted to make sure Robot One's all good. I'm really sorry if I caused any hassle."
"Nah, sis, Robot One's doing better than ever, thanks to you. You didn't cause any trouble at all. Without you, it wouldn't be running this smoothly."
The others gathered around, peppering Josefina with questions about her technical wizardry. They were dying to know how she pulled off the fix and what tweaks she made.
Josefina patiently answered each question and shared her insights.
A few folks pulled up chairs, hanging onto her every word.
Before they knew it, two hours slipped by.
They looked at Josefina with newfound respect, completely floored by her skills.
"Josie, you're incredible! Ever thought about joining our company?" Sonny asked, practically bouncing with excitement.
Reid chuckled, "My sister's still hitting the books. She's got no time for a gig here."
"So, where are you studying, sis?"
"The University of Melbourne."
Everyone was even more impressed, practically starstruck.
"Josie, you're a role model!"
Once she wrapped up, even the guy who'd joked about dating her looked at her in awe, "Josie, you're my hero."
Reid watched Josefina, filled with admiration. She was truly captivating!
Josefina said, "Give it a shot yourselves, I've got to head out."
Sonny suggested, "Josie, let's grab some food. You must be wiped out after all that talking. Our treat."
"No need, you guys are Reid’s team, helping you is like helping him. I'll pass on the meal, but thanks," Josefina insisted on leaving.
Reid offered, "Let me walk you out, sis."
As Reid and Josefina left, Sonny and the gang lost interest in food, eager to dive into their work instead.
Reid felt like his sister was some kind of guardian angel sent to help him out.
"Sis, is there anything you don't know?" Reid asked, still in awe of her.
