Josie shot up from her seat, a hint of urgency and irritation in her voice, "My hair's still damp. I need to dry it."

With practiced ease, she grabbed her hairdryer and expertly dried her hair, the warm air swirling around her. Once done, she turned around to find Oliver lounging comfortably on the bed.

"Josie, are you scared of me? We've known each other for ages, and I've never made you do anything you didn't want to. I'm pretty tired. Let's just hit the sack, alright? Just sleep."

Oliver's voice had a teasing, inviting tone, pulling Josie in without needing to say more. She walked over and perched on the bed's edge.

"Could you scoot over a bit?"

Oliver shuffled over, making space for her. Josie lay down beside him, letting out a big yawn, and soon enough, sleep overtook her.

She was truly worn out, and before long, Oliver could hear her soft, rhythmic breathing. He turned slightly, the bedside lamp shedding a gentle light on Josie's peaceful face. Her long lashes rested on her cheeks, her nose delicate and just right.

Oliver reached for his phone, using it to turn off the lamp, and snuggled closer to Josie, wrapping an arm around her, drawing her into his embrace...

Oliver woke up with a strange ache in his stomach and realized Josie was no longer next to him. He glanced around and saw her pajama pants had crept up her thighs, resting against his stomach. Her shirt's top three buttons had popped open, offering a glimpse of her soft skin.

The sight stirred something in him.

He carefully moved Josie's legs off him, rubbed his stomach, and slowly sat up.

Josie stirred awake too, lying on the soft bed. She noticed Oliver sitting up suddenly. "Oliver, you're bleeding from your nose."

Oliver touched his nose and, sure enough, found blood there.

Josie's mind raced, wondering what could've caused a nosebleed this early. Then she glanced down and saw her shirt gaping open, revealing more than intended.

"Oliver, you creep!"
