"Hey, did Master make it here too?" Josefina asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Master couldn't make it this time. He sent me as a stand-in to judge the competition. I knew you were competing today, but the organizers thought Master needed some extra rest after his long journey, so they pushed the competition to tomorrow."
Josefina's eyes lit up with realization. "Ah, so that's why the competition got postponed."
"You're judging tomorrow, but here you are, chatting with me at the reception," Josefina teased. "People might catch on that we know each other."
"Don't sweat it, little sis," Cash reassured her with a smile. "Tomorrow, you'll see what it's all about. Even if folks know we're connected, it won't mess with the competition."
Josefina was intrigued, unsure of what Cash had up his sleeve. "You're not planning to set me up for a fall, are you?" she asked playfully. Even though the principal was clued in on her identity, she wasn't ready for a big reveal just yet.
"Relax, sis. I'd never let you fall on your face in front of everyone. You're our beloved little sister; no need to worry."
Josefina decided to let it slide, choosing to wait for the next day's surprises. Cash casually cleaned off the skewers that had just been served, placing them neatly on her plate.
"So, is Oliver really your fiancé?" Cash inquired, raising an eyebrow.
Josefina nodded, "Yep, he sure is."
Cash was momentarily taken aback. "Isn't he just playing with your feelings? I've heard he's quite the heartbreaker. Hasn't he seen every kind of woman there is? Is he toying with your emotions?"
Josefina laughed, putting her skewer down. "Nah, he's not like that. He's really good to me; if I say jump, he asks how high. He's even promised to transfer all his assets to me before the wedding."
