Oliver couldn't resist flashing a warm smile as he playfully tousled Josefina's hair. "Hey Oliver, can you drop me at the fashion company? Alex mentioned they've brought in a couple of new designers and wants me to give them a look-over," Josefina asked.
As they drove to the fashion firm, the receptionist's face lit up with excitement at Josefina's return. "Welcome back, Ms. Josefina!" she greeted enthusiastically.
Walking into the office, Josefina was met with cheerful greetings from the staff, their happiness at her return evident. Feeling generous, she decided to treat everyone to a casual afternoon tea, buffet-style – grab whatever you fancy.
Alex approached with a bright smile, "Ms. Josefina, so glad you could make it. Let me introduce you to the new designers."
Josefina replied with a hint of reassurance, "Alex, you could've handled this. I trust you completely with the design department."
Alex, a bit concerned, admitted, "Ms. Josefina, I can sketch designs, but I'm not confident in making the right calls during interviews. I worry my choices might not always be the best for the company. It's always better when the right person handles it."
...
Inside the interview room, a girl with a gentle demeanor sat nervously in her chair. "Why isn't the director interviewing us?" she asked.
Alex, trying to ease her nerves, said with a smile, "I'm the design director, but our boss is the one interviewing you. It's her decision. Don't worry, she's really kind."
The girl watched nervously as the previous candidate left, then it was her turn to enter.
As she sat down, Josefina reviewed her resume. "Bobby, you've been involved in quite a few designs," Josefina noted.
Bobby responded with a polite smile, "I owe it to my mentors for giving me these opportunities."
"What made you decide to come back after doing so well abroad?" Josefina asked.
