Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 908

Sylvie, with a warm gesture, used the serving tongs to place a tender piece of prime rib and a slice of roasted chicken onto Josefina's plate.

"It's all so delicious," Josefina said genuinely.

"I'm glad you like it," Sylvie replied with a smile that could light up the room.

Kania watched the exchange with growing affection for Josefina, feeling a strong bond form.

Sylvie’s parents raised their glasses in a toast to Josefina, who, respecting her choice, had only juice in her glass.

Josefina lifted her glass, joining them in a cheerful toast with a clink that resonated warmth and gratitude.

Even Sylvie's brother joined in, raising his glass to Josefina in appreciation.

Feeling the family's gratitude, Josefina chatted easily with everyone, enjoying the lively atmosphere.

"Josefina, thank you. We would have been blind to the truth about that wolf in sheep's clothing without you," Sylvie said with relief.

Kania had been shocked to discover the poisoner was her own son, and even more so when the mastermind turned out to be her seemingly gentle daughter-in-law.

Despite the daughter-in-law’s constant warmth, Kania had never quite warmed to her. Now she saw her for what she truly was—a wolf in disguise who nearly destroyed their family.

Josefina nodded, "It’s lucky the truth came out when it did, or the Salisbury family might have been in her grasp."

The thought made Sylvie shudder, unable to comprehend such cold-heartedness.

"Grandma, I heard Uncle was living with her and she sold the house, running off alone," Sylvie shared.

Kania scoffed, "His fate is his own problem now. If he asks for money, don’t give him a cent."

With Kania’s firm decree, no one dared to defy her, much less aid Moss, who had tried to harm them.

After dinner, they moved to the living room to unwind.

Sylvie’s brother joined in, "Please, take them. It's a small token of our family’s appreciation."

Despite Josefina's protests, the sheer number and variety of gifts were overwhelming. From emerald jewelry to diamonds, gold, and other precious stones, the collection was stunning.

Kania said, "I’ll have someone load these into your car, Josefina. Hand over your car keys, please, so they can help."

Josefina tried to refuse again, but Sylvie spotted the keys in her jacket pocket.

Sylvie handed the keys to a servant, who began loading the gifts into Josefina’s car.

Josefina was speechless, "You’re all incredibly generous. Healing is a doctor’s duty; these gifts are too grand for me." Her heart was always set on healing and helping.

Sylvie reassured her, "We might need your help again, so please accept them as a token of our gratitude."

In the end, Josefina had no choice but to accept. She then pulled out some medicine from another pocket, offering it to Kania, "This will help strengthen your body."
