Hearing those words, Dominic's mood took a nosedive.
"Got it."
Dominic ended the call, already planning his next move to handle the situation.
With a mix of frustration and disbelief, he muttered, "I never thought the day would come when our secrets would be exposed."
A woman approached from behind, wrapping her arms around his waist, her voice dripping with seduction. "Even if it does, you've got it under control, don't you?"
Dominic turned, his broad shoulders eclipsing her petite frame.
With a mischievous grin, he tilted her chin upward and leaned in for a passionate kiss.
They moved together, clothing slipping away piece by piece, until the room was cloaked in shadows, their faces hidden, leaving only the soft murmur of their whispers.

Meanwhile, Josefina was at Oliver's place, feeding the koi in the backyard pond.
Oliver stood nearby, engrossed in a phone call, his voice composed yet distant.
"Yeah, I'm on it."
As he hung up, Josefina turned to him with a teasing smile. "What's the good news? It's not every day we see our no-nonsense CEO cracking a smile."
Caught between amusement and exasperation, Oliver sat beside her.
"I've heard Rowan's getting suspicious of Sydney and is digging around," he shared.
Josefina's eyes lit up. "Sydney's bound to try and block the investigation. You should clear the way so Rowan can see the real Sydney."
"I'm already on it. If Rowan wants the truth, he deserves to see it. He needs to realize how blind he's been all these years," Oliver replied, watching the koi swim happily, snapping up the food Josefina scattered.
