Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 957

Under Luke's persuasion, anyone wanting to spar with Nanshan had to pony up some cash. A hundred bucks a pop was the price, enough to keep Nanshan entertained.

The first guy to hand over the money squared up to Nanshan, clearly underestimating him. Then, with surprising ease, Nanshan picked him up and tossed him to the ground. Thankfully, there was a mat to soften the fall.

Sun Lang, getting to his feet, was utterly flabbergasted. "Boss, this guy's got some serious muscle!"

Luke gave him a swift kick. "You keep showing me up. I told you not to fight, but you wouldn’t listen. Now, do you see how strong my buddy Nanshan is?"

The others were just as stunned. Was Nanshan really that formidable?

"I'll give it a shot!" Another guy stepped up, but Nanshan had him down in under three moves.

Nanshan's impressive skills caught everyone’s attention, and soon enough, they were all eager for him to teach them his moves. Luke was all for it—it’d give Nanshan something to do other than hanging around Josefina all the time.

Rowan headed to the company to meet with Oliver. Once Oliver gave the nod, Rowan was allowed into the office. He placed a share transfer agreement on Oliver's desk, his usual aggressive demeanor gone, replaced by a surprisingly approachable vibe.

"I'm handing over all my shares to you, no strings attached," Rowan announced.

Oliver picked up the agreement and studied it closely. When he finished, he didn’t sign right away. "Get out," Oliver said, his voice cold as ice.

Rowan wanted to say something, but words escaped him, so he simply left the office. George, watching Rowan's defeated exit, wasn’t surprised. Mr. Oliver was never going to forgive him; he should just accept that.

...

Sydney was on a boat with Shay and Dominic, the ship slicing through the waves. Their wounds had been freshly bandaged, and they sat silently in their seats.

Facing them was an elderly man with greying hair, his sharp eyes scrutinizing the three of them. Sydney spoke up cautiously, "Uncle Mark, it was my fault. I'm ready to take the punishment."
