Chapter 8
Chapter 8
I stood by the window, originally wanting to quietly think about the future.
Only to see Alexander’s car return.
My heart skipped a beat.
I didn’t know why he came back.
Whether to continue lecturing me, forbidding me from bullying Efrain
in the future.
Or if his conscience had finally caught up with him, and he came to apologize.
Unfortunately, the moment the car turned around and left again.
None of it mattered anymore.
I smiled in relief.
It didn’t matter.
I stayed up all night, deleting everything related to Alexander in my phone’s notes.
Then I opened the gallery and wiped clean all the photos and videos of
him.

Chapter 8
2009 Wuther
After finishing all this, as dawn approached, I walked out of the hospital.
The sky was clear, and the road to the airport was smooth.
Leaving him was much easier than getting close to him.
I suddenly thought of a quote I saw online before:
[Fate will make you repeatedly experience similar things until you learn how to deal with them.]

I figured even God was reminding me.
Cut your losses in time, and blessings will follow.
The plane landed smoothly at JFK International Airport.
My brother, wearing sunglasses, leaned against a pillar and waved at
“Finally willing to come back?”
Seeing my family again and returning to a familiar place, my heart was filled with mixed emotions.
I suppressed my feelings and raised an eyebrow at Jonathan:
“Yeah, came back to see if you’ve squandered all my inheritance.”
Jonathan laughed out loud:

Chapter S
“Still as sharp-tongued as ever.”
After saying that, he suddenly reached out and pulled me into his
arms.
“Alright, I’ll let you win. My sister coming back is the most important thing.”
The tears I had just suppressed welled up again.
I raised my hand and wiped them away behind his back.
“Let’s go,” Jonathan let go of me and patted my shoulder. “I prepared a surprise for you.”
“What is it?”
Jonathan’s lips curled into a smirk, pointing in a direction without looking back.
My heart skipped a beat, a bad premonition washing over me.
I looked over.
Standing there was a man who stood out exceptionally in the crowd.
Jonathan said in a leisurely tone:
“Come on, let’s go say hi to your future husband.”
