Chapter 100 Her Plan
Adriana watched Belinda leave, a sharp ache hitting her chest.
If Belinda found out her mother was still alive, she’d be thrilled.

Silverwave Hotel.
Yolanda had barely stepped out of her room when someone stopped her.
It was Danielle.
Danielle had been secretly watching Adriana, so the second Adriana met up with Yolanda, she knew about it.
“Ms. Spencer, I’m Danielle, heiress of Barton Group.” She handed Yolanda a business card.
Yolanda blinked, clearly thrown off. “What? Seriously?”
She looked around, puzzled about why someone from the Bartons would show up at her hotel. Was that some kind of scam?
“I know your dad owns BrightReach, that food company in Harborton, Danielle went on smoothly. “Your family works with the Lincolns‘ resorts and also with our Barton restaurant chains.”
“Ms. Barton?” Yolanda still didn’t see what Danielle was getting at.
“I want us to be friends. Help me handle a problem, and your family will gain from it for a long time,” Danielle said, hinting that Yolanda should know what to do.
“Just say it,” Yolanda replied. She wasn’t the type to play guessing games.
And honestly, Danielle looked sharp and confident.
“Curtis is engaged to my family, but Adriana is getting in the way. If you can get her alone at this place, I’ll make sure your family’s deal with us gets even stronger.”
Danielle slipped Yolanda a piece of paper with an address on it.
Yolanda was smart. She instantly caught on that Danielle wanted to set Adriana up.
She smiled and looked around. “Ms. Barton, this isn’t the best spot to talk. Let’s go to my room.”
Danielle liked how quick Yolanda was to respond and followed her in.
་
Once inside, Yolanda quietly turned on her phone’s recorder, then poured Danielle a glass of water like nothing had happened.
Being a flight attendant, Yolanda’s calm smile and polite service worked like magic. Danielle was completely
relaxed.
“Ms. Barton, can you explain your plan? I can bring Adriana to you. But what do you want to do? Is it risky?

Chapter 100 Her Plan
Will I get dragged into it? Are the risks worth the payoff? If this works, what do I get out of it?”
Her tone was smooth and professional, almost like she was checking off a list.
She couldn’t believe Danielle was being that dumb, basically handing her evidence.
Danielle gave Yolanda a pleased look. “You’re clever. You know what you’re doing.”
Yolanda smiled back. “Just making sure there are no surprises.”

“Don’t worry. You just get her there. Act like we don’t know each other. My team will handle everything else. Whatever happens next isn’t your problem.”
If Yolanda wanted rewards, she had to take some risks.
Still smiling, she asked, “But if something happens to Adriana, will I be blamed?”
“No one will ever trace it back to you,” Danielle said coolly.
“I’m a little worried,” Yolanda said, pretending to be unsure.
“That’s life. The strong survive. Just enjoy the benefits you deserve.” Danielle’s tone dripped with confidence.
Yolanda paused, pretending to think it over. “Ms. Barton, I’ll need time to consider. What exactly are you offering? I’d rather hear the details first before I make a decision.”
Yolanda was sharp. She wanted Danielle to spell it out clearly.
“Our company will sign a long–term support deal with your family. If there’s any food–related business, we’ll go through your company. We’ll also back your farming and livestock work in Centralia.”
It was a tempting offer, no doubt about it.
Yolanda nodded with a polite smile. “Alright, Ms. Barton. I’ll think it over.”
Danielle left her card and strutted out, satisfied. She’d done her research.
Yolanda was known for chasing money and networking with wealthy passengers. Rumor had it she’d dated a few men already and now had her eye on Curtis.
If she’d gotten close to Adriana just to reach Curtis, then she’d do anything for more benefits.
After Danielle left, Yolanda sat on her bed, staring at the business card.
Danielle wasn’t wrong. Yolanda was indeed driven by money.
But now, she was thinking how to turn the deal into something bigger.
That was a jackpot, an unexpected bonus.
Smirking, she sent a friend request to Curtis with a note. “I’m Adriana’s friend. She’s in danger.”
She was ready to gamble and see just how much Adriana really meant to Curtis.
