Adriana couldn’t shake the feeling that she had fallen into some kind of elaborate trap.

But that can’t be right–Curtis isn’t a perv … I must be overthinking it.

“Th–then… let’s get to work tonight,” Adriana murmured.

Curtis suppressed a smile. “Okay.”

Her ears flushed red as she hesitated, then slipped into the bathroom.

“Adriana, are you all right?” Curtis waited in the living room for over an hour, and Adriana still hadn’t come

out.

“I–I’m fine…” She nervously opened the bathroom door, and a wave of steam rushed out.

Wrapped in a bathrobe, her wet hair clinging to her face, she looked a little tense.

Curtis looked down at her. She was really beautiful–cute yet undeniably sexy, far more striking than many actresses he had seen.

“Why didn’t you dry your hair?” Curtis asked, his voice softening without realizing it.

“It’ll be dry soon … ” Adriana wanted to say she’d already towel–dried it pretty well.

Curtis said nothing. He took her hand and guided her back into the bathroom to dry her hair himself.

The warm air blew down from above, and Adriana’s heart raced nervously.

She wasn’t a pure little girl anymore … even her first time with Matthew hadn’t made her this flustered.

Watching Curtis in the mirror, she saw how natural and practiced he looked as he cared for her …

Did he learn it from taking care of Belinda’s mother?

“Curtis … have you … been with anyone else?” Adriana asked quietly once he turned off the blow dryer.

Curtis didn’t answer, casually ruffling her hair.

Adriana wasn’t sure what he meant by that.

Belinda told me Curtis never allowed women close–so has he actually been with her mother?

Blinking, Adriana’s curiosity grew. Curtis is 29–no way he’s never touched a woman, right? That just doesn’t seem possible.

“Curious?” Curtis laughed when he noticed Adriana staring at him.

“Yes.” Adriana nodded eagerly, her gossiping nature showing.

“The answer’s no…” Curtis cleared his throat lightly, taking her hand and walking out.

Adriana was shocked. She was screaming inside, This 29–year–old CEO has never been with a woman? Is he really

that innocent?

Still stunned, she remembered Curtis’s earlier suggestion in the car about IVF. Could it be… that he really couldn’t get it up?

To protect his pride, Adriana whispered softly. “Curtis, if it’s really not possible … I can try IVF.”

Though it would be more laborious, with daily injections and medication.

Curtis looked at her. “You changing your mind?”

His voice was a little husky. With no makeup, Adriana’s skin looked so soft and dewy, with a rosy glow that just begged to be kissed.

No wonder Matthew didn’t want to let her go over the past four years. She’s irresistible.

How could anyone hold back?

“No… I’m just worried about you.” Adriana lowered her gaze, speaking softly.

Curtis finally reacted, laughing at her concern.

He gently cupped her chin and smiled. “You think I can’t do it?”

Adriana blushed, her ears burning. “No, I didn’t mean-

Before she could finish, Curtis kissed her.

Adriana felt her heart leap into her throat.

She felt as if she had rushed into marriage, and the man in front of her was truly her husband.

Seeing her body tense, Curtis’s voice turned husky. He lifted her into his arms, letting her wrap around him as he walked toward the bed.

“Curtis… “Adriana was flustered.

To ease the awkwardness, she clutched him tightly.

At five–foot–five, she looked tiny in his arms, her slim waist almost fragile under his grip.
