My Husband's Affair My Anniversary Gift (Lily and David) novel Chapter 251

Outside the restaurant, the cold air hit Riyana hard as she rushed back. Her breaths were uneven, her eyes wide with worry as she jumped out of the car. She had run through the alley, checked every turn, every shadow. Nothing. They were gone.

She spotted Jabco standing near the door, hands clenched on his sides, chest rising too fast.

“Boss… I’m sorry,” Riyana said, her voice shaking. “I couldn’t catch them. They were too fast. I lost the track in the corner.”

Jabco didn’t react for a second. He just stood still, like his brain froze. Then he lifted his eyes at her slowly.

“She was right here. I saw them drag her,” Riyana said quietly, guilt choking her. “I was just few steps behind her.”

Jabco’s jaw tightened. His whole face went stiff. The look he got when he was ready to do something dangerous.

“Track every black van in this area,” he said in a hard voice. “I don’t care how you do it. If you can’t track it, break into the damn system. I want every camera.”

“Alright,” Riyana nodded. She stepped aside and pulled out her phone. Her hands didn’t stop shaking as she made a call. “Check all cameras around the road. Black van, no plate, moving fast. I need updates now.”

She hung up. When she looked back at Jabco, he was already speaking with David on a call.

Roy stood next to David, holding a file but not even reading it.

David’s phone lit again. He thought it was Lily. His heart jumped up into his throat for a second.

But it wasn’t her. It was Jabco.

David’s face darkened. He had no patience left for Jabco. He hated him enough already, and seeing his name now made him snap inside.

Still, he picked up. If Lily was with him, he had to answer.

“What is it?” David said, voice sharp and angry.

“David… something happened,” Jabco said. His voice was uneven. He sounded out of breath.

David stood up so fast his chair flew behind him. His chest tightened. Just from the tone, he knew. Something happened to Lily.

“What happened?” David’s voice dropped, low and dangerous.

“Lily… I’m sorry,” Jabco whispered, struggling to say the rest.

David walked toward the door already. His mind was going blank and burning at the same time.

“Say it!” David shouted into the phone. Roy froze beside him. David never raised his voice like that unless something horrible was happening.

Jabco swallowed. “Lily got kidnapped. I’m sending you the location.”

Before David could say anything, the call ended.

David’s heart stopped. Only for one second. Then he felt his whole body burning.

“What do you mean she got kidnapped?” He yelled into the phone, not realizing the call was gone.

“I’m sorry,” he said in a cracked voice.

David didn’t stop. He punched him again.

“She trusted you more than me! And you couldn’t even protect her?” Another punch landed.

Riyana, Roy, and the guards rushed in and dragged David back. David fought them, breathing like he was losing his mind.

“Boss, we need to find her first!” Roy shouted, struggling to hold him.

David’s eyes were red. His hands were shaking. He looked like he wanted to tear the whole street apart.

He finally pulled away from Roy and closed his eyes. His chest hurt like someone was pushing knives inside.

For the first time in years, he felt terrified. Truly terrified again .

He opened his eyes again. “Find her,” he said, his voice low and trembling. “No matter what you have to do.”

Then he turned and punched the wall.

He leaned his head against it for a second. His breath trembled.

“Lily…” he whispered. “Where are you? Please be safe.”
