My Mate Is Seeing Someone Else novel Chapter 33

He tightened his hold on me and kissed my mark. My eyes closed and I held in a moan that bubbled to my lips. I fought back the feeling of crushing my lips to his and showing him how much I love him. He removed his lips from my mark and I began to have power over my body again.

His kissed up my neck and stopped at the hollow over my ear.

"We will always go to bed together," He whispered in my ear.

His voice sent shivers down my spine and I giggled at the feeling of his breath against my skin. Someone clear there throat and John lifted his head to get a good look at them. It was my father. I gulped and hid my face in his shirt.

"I am sorry to um....to interrupt you two but I need to speak to my daughter," he said.

John nodded and released me from his hold.

"I should go find my father," John said giving me a kiss on the forehead before walking inside the house.

I turn to face my father not looking him in the eyes. What am I suppose to do? My father just witnessed me and my mate having 'a private moment'.

"So what do you need to talk to me about?" I asked breaking the silence.

He looked as uncomfortable as I felt.

"Well, the last time I saw you, you were being carried into the pack house covered in blood," he said sounding angry, "I thought it would be un-father like of me not to see how my daughter was doing, don't you?" he asked.

"Yes, I guess it would," I told him.

"So how are you?" he asked in a kinder tone.

I smiled at how I felt with John, but not at how things have played out.

"I feel good, better than I have felt in a long time," I told him.

I wanted to tell him how happy I was with John but I didn't want to make him upset.

A little grin formed on his lips.

"Now, was I right that I know what it feels like . . . to be in love?" he asked.

"Yes, you were. You were right about a lot of things daddy," I told him.

His grin grew bigger when he heard me call him daddy.

He chuckled, "I would hate to say I told you so but . . . I told you so," He said laughing at his own joke.

"What is the first?" I asked scared of the answer.

"The first is not to hurt you. The second is that I never want to witness what I just witnessed. And three is that if he wants you to change than he can take that up with me," He said.

I didn't realize that it had become dark out. My father looked around at his surroundings and then at me.

"We should get inside and help everyone," He said sitting up off the bench.

I got off the bench and followed my father inside. I walked into the game room where Ash, Anthony, John, and some of the other kids in our pack that were my age were. They were setting out sleeping bags for some that offered up their rooms for the young ones who had no parents to stay with.

"Dude, why do I have to sleep in here?" Zach asked.

Ash laughed, "Because you pissed off my mother with all of your complaining so you have to sleep here. Besides there is only going to be 7 girls and maybe she might be your mate so don't sound so upset," She told him.

"You aren't the one sleeping on the floor," Zach replied.

John turned around and pushed Zach's chest.

"Will you just shut up? These people have lost their homes and here you are complaining about how bad it is to sleep in a sleeping bag for one night. Are you kidding me?" He said letting his anger show.
