I ran over to him and placed my hand on his chest that was making an up and down motion from his rasping breaths.
Zach was shocked but looked down in shame.
"Sorry," he mumbled and walked out of the room.
I looked at Zach leaving the room and then at John. John had a shocked expression on his face. It was silent and an awkward feeling in the air. It was Ash, however, that broke the silence.
"You are right, he shouldn't be so selfish," She said with Anthony agreeing with her.
"She is right,"
He looked down at me with sad eyes and leaned his forehead on mine.
"I shouldn't have reacted like that. Zach is one of my best friends, I didn't mean to push him," He said to me.
"I know," I said comforting him.
"Why don't you guys go to bed? Anthony and I can help out down here," She said.
I looked at John and he nodded.
"Thank you, Ashling . . . and you to Anthony," He said sounding as if he didn't want to say Anthony's name.
It was strange because I thought John liked Anthony. I will have to ask him about it later. John walked us up to our room. Once in the room, John went and sat on the bed leaving me standing there. He looked frustrated and tried. I walked into the closet and picked out one of John's old T-shirts. I walked out to find John in the same position that he in before. I climbed on the bed and wrapped my arms around his back. I planted little kisses on the back of his neck and shoulder. When I found his soft spot he grabbed my wrist and began to unhook my arms around him.
"Morgan, please?" He said in a serious tone.
I untangled my arms and let out a sigh.
"John, what is wrong?" I asked.
He left my lips and traveled down my neck. He moved us to the center of the bed and angled my face with his hands giving him more room to work with. He didn't go near my make though, most of the time he didn't waste any time and went straight for it. His hands traveled down my waist and to my thigh. I wanted to be with him and touch him but every time I tried he would pull them back around his neck. Why did he pull me away? Was I doing something wrong? He could tell that I wasn't into it as much and moved his head so that he could look at me.
"I don't want to get carried away, Morgan. At least not tonight," He said smirking.
"So you can drive me crazy but I can't drive you crazy?" I asked.
He gave me a sincere smile and caressed my cheek. I couldn't resist leaning into the palm of his hand and kissed it.
"You drive me crazy knowing that I am driving you crazy," He laughed, "When you walk into the room, I feel happier," He said with a smile and then he looked into my eyes and held their gaze, "When I look into your eyes I see my world, my love, my everything," he said in a gentle voice.
I giggled.
"Do you know how cheesy you sound right now?" I asked.
He rolled over so that I was underneath him. He reached over me pulling the comforter down and sliding us under it. I love his comforter, I feel like I am surrounded in soft white clouds. His bed linins were all crisp white with a dark mahogany headboard and bedpost. The tops of the posts had wolf heads carved out and on the headboard was a carved out image of two wolf heads with their noses touching. In so ways it looked as if they made a heart. Once he was under the covers with me he pulled me into his chest.
