However, no matter how fast the husky was, it still had to go through three steps: braking hard, turning, then accelerating again.
Bullets were much faster. Rifle rounds travel at nearly the speed of sound.
This time, Ray fired with deliberate control, spreading the bullets like a net–no, not one net, but seven.
Otherwise, why would he need to unleash thousands of rounds at once?
Strictly speaking, he fired seven times. The intervals were so brief they were effectively simultaneous, creating the illusion that thousands of bullets were released in a single instant.
This was war!
The husky was hit.
The mutated dog let out agonized, rage–filled howls.
It was struck by more than a dozen bullets. Its sprinting body lost control and slammed violently into the wall. With a thunderous crash, the impact shattered the wall outright, and its massive body skidded through the breach.
Blood sprayed everywhere.
Ray was about to give chase when a sharp pain stabbed into his head. His body felt hollowed out, so weak he nearly threw up.
What was going on?
He had used the otherworldly space countless times before. This had never happened.
Could it be the God’s Eye ability?
No. That wasn’t the right name for that ability.
He possessed an otherworldly storage space and could even spatial portals to absorb anything smaller than the gate itself. What did that mean?
It meant he wielded spatial abilities.
Earlier, he had been able to perceive everything around him–front, back, above, below. Wasn’t that also a manifestation of spatial power?
Spatial detection? Spatial perception?
Call it whatever–it didn’t matter. Under immense pressure and a desperate will to survive, he had awakened a second ability of his spatial power.
Spatial perception.
To hell with “God’s Eye.” He wasn’t religious.
However, first, he couldn’t use spatial perception at will. Second, activating it clearly consumed something… energy?
It wasn’t physical exhaustion. It felt deeper, like his ability itself had been drained.
But then, why did opening the otherworldly spatial portal carry no such burden?
Lost in thought, Ray dropped heavily to the floor, panting. Sweat soaked his body. Even so, he still opened a spatial portal in front of himself, just in case the husky tried to circle back.
After resting for a while, his strength gradually returned.

He tried to activate spatial perception again—but failed.
Did it require imminent danger? Or was it simply too unfamiliar, used too few times? If he practiced more, would he eventually be able to activate it at will?
Ray followed the blood trail, hoping to track the husky. But after running for some distance, the blood abruptly stopped.
Damn it, its bleeding had already stopped?
Ray sucked in a sharp breath. That husky’s regenerative ability was terrifying.
Did any creature on Earth recover that fast?
