Chapter 154
Ray casually pointed at one person.
“Die.”
A bullet flew out without a sound. Blood burst into the air.
“Aaah-!”
Ray’s expression darkened. The shot hadn’t blown the man’s head apart–it struck his ear instead. The distance was a bit too far, throwing off his aim.
Honestly, it was a little embarrassing. He’d clearly said “die.”
But the people facing him were already terrified out of their minds.
From more than ten meters away, with just a finger pointed, Ray had blown a man’s ear apart.
It was horrifying.
Just as Ray had said, he wasn’t a messenger of the Devil. He was the Devil himself.
Immediately, some dropped to their knees, kowtowing again and again.
“Lord Devil, I submit! Please spare my life!”
They were opportunists–people like that had no real faith to begin with.
Ray said calmly, “Those who submit to me, come forward. I will take you into my kingdom.”
What did that mean?
The kneeling people froze, then hesitantly stood up and began walking toward Ray, step by step.
After a few steps, someone vanished–gone without a trace, no distortion, no sign of anything unusual.
The others immediately stopped.
Ray smiled faintly. “What are you standing there for? Don’t you want to come with me?”
Only then did they understand.
The person who’d disappeared had truly entered Ray’s “kingdom.”
No matter how bad it might be, it had to be better than here, right?
Thinking that, someone took another step forward–and vanished instantly.
That gave many others courage. They followed.
One after another, they disappeared.
Still, some held different thoughts. Instead of stepping forward, they began to retreat.
After a few minutes, no one else moved ahead.
Ray glanced around. More than thirty people remained, backing away instead of advancing.
“Devil! Devil!” the middle–aged man shouted hysterically. Somehow, he produced a cross and brandished it at Ray as if trying to intimidate him. “I command you–retreat at oncel”

Ray snorted. He raised his right hand, forming it into the shape of a gun, and aimed at the man

“Pew.”
A bullet shot out silently.
“Ah-!”
The middle–aged man clutched his neck and staggered backward. Blood poured through his fingers like water from a ruptured
pipe.
Ray’s mouth twitched.
He’d meant to blow the man’s head off, but missed.
Damn his aim.
Outside the range of his spatial perception, his accuracy dropped straight off a cliff.
But the man’s horrific state was more than enough to scare everyone else half to death.
