Chapter 161
Cassandra pouted playfully. “You really take advantage and act all innocent about it!”
She was stunning—a woman who could easily marry into a prestigious family. Her parents were university professors, after all, a huge bonus. Yet somehow, she had sold herself over a few scraps of food.
Sigh.
Her expression shifted as she looked at the man beside her. The more desperate reality became, the more she realized how much she depended on him. And with that dependence growing, her feelings for Ray became more complicated. One day, she knew her heart would be completely his.
The thought both terrified and enthralled her. Could she even imagine leaving Ray?
Even leaving aside her feelings, she knew what those “monsters” in Building 4 were capable of. Step outside the villa, and in the next second, a group of men could grab her, play with her, and torture her:
By then… life wouldn’t even be worth living.
No–death wouldn’t even be an escape. They could kill her and eat her!
Shivering at the thought, her face turned pale. And it wasn’t just this community–cannibalism could be happening across the planet!
Instinctively, she hugged Ray tightly. “You cannot get hurt!”
If anything happened to him, her fate would be utterly tragic.
Ray smiled. “Relax. I’m selfish enough not to let any other man touch you.”
That day, Ray didn’t seem to be doing much–and yet, in another way, he was doing everything at once. Upstairs and downstairs, his back and waist were stretched to their limits. No wonder the Kings of old had such famously short lifespans.
“And yet… it doesn’t seem to be affecting me at all,” he murmured, studying his reflection. His body showed no signs of exhaustion or wear. In fact, compared to photos from just days ago, he looked even more energetic and full of life.
Strange.
“Superpowers have boosted my physical condition too… so my ‘stamina‘ keeps increasing?
“If that’s true, then absorbing dozens–or hundreds–of abilities could truly turn me into a human pile driver. And my body wouldn’t just endure it–it could grow even stronger.
“Hell, that’s perfect!”
He nodded. Another reason to hunt down ability users had just revealed itself.
Finally, the indulgent day came to an end.
Ray started preparing early for Molly’s arrival.
“Can we go now?” she asked eagerly.
“Lucky for you, I have everything ready,” Ray replied.
Molly bit her lip, hesitating before asking, “Can I find my sister first… and then complete the deal?”
Seeing Ray’s expression darken slightly, she quickly added, “I’m not backing out! It’s just I’m still you know untouched And if I go through with it now, I might not be able to walk right afterward, and then I couldn’t go look for her.”

Ray raised an eyebrow in surprise. Such a stunning beauty… and still a virgin? Before, none of the four women–including Honey –had been. And now, two in a row. Interesting.
He didn’t comment, only countered, “First, I only agreed to lend the car and accompany you to Senna University. I never promised I’d help find your sister.”
Molly hesitated, then nodded. “As long as you take me to Senna University, even if I don’t find my sister, I’ll honor the deal afterward.”
“Second,” Ray continued, “what if you try to back out?”
“I swear-”
He waved her off. “I don’t trust swearing. Here’s the deal: if you try to cheat me, I’ll put a bullet in your head.”
He drew a pistol and held it up in front of her.
Molly gulped and nodded. “Okay!”
She had brought a gun too, but Ray had confiscated it the first time she came. Faced with a powerful armed man, her mind and body instinctively submitted.
“Alright, let’s go,” Ray said.
The four women–Honey and the others–hurried over, warning Ray to be careful while shooting sharp, cautioning glances at
Molly.
Molly sighed inwardly. Once she found her sister and fulfilled her promise, she would take her and leave. She had no interest in competing with these four for Ray’s attention.
