What now? Should they head back and prepare more explosives–bring even more?
Just then, a sharp click sounded as the villa’s front door actually opened.
Opened?
Well, after that kind of blast, unless the people inside were drugged into a coma, anyone with a pulse would come out to see what was going on.
Blowing open an entrance with explosives or having the owner open the door himself–what was the difference?
“Charge!” Theo barked, chopping his hand forward as more than a dozen men surged ahead.
Only Killian hesitated. He felt an inexplicable fear toward Ray.
That hesitation saved his life… at least for now.
Murderous intent rolled off Ray as his spatial portal snapped open. Steel rebars driven by kinetic force shot out one after another, punching straight through each attacker’s face before continuing on, piercing the ice and embedding itself deep below.
In an instant, thirteen bodies were pinned outside the villa.
None of them lay flat.
Each corpse was twisted into grotesque, unnatural poses, nailed upright by steel bars–horrifying beyond words.
Theo felt his soul leave his body.
This was bad.
This man was an ability user too–just like their boss!
He didn’t even think to warn Killian. He turned and bolted, but panic made him slip. He crashed hard onto the ice, pain nearly bringing tears to his eyes.
Luckily, he was bundled up well. No bare skin touched the ice–otherwise the toxins would have invaded, leaving him in agony, too weak to get up, doomed to freeze to death on the spot.
But when he finally scrambled back to his feet, a figure was already standing in front of him.
“Heh. You try to blow up my house and think you can just run?” Ray’s voice was calm, yet beneath it lurked a chilling, lethal intent.
Theo nearly broke down crying. He cursed inwardly, ‘Killian, you bastard! You never said Ray was an ability user too!
If he’d known, he wouldn’t have come even if you beat him to death!
At the very least, he’d only dare come under Logan’s lead.
No guns, no heavy weapons–how do you fight an ability user with cold steel? That was just suicide.
“Boss–no, sir–I was misled. I acted rashly. Please show mercy!” Theo blurted out. “Our boss is like you too–he has abilities. The same kind you just used. Only, he can transform into metall”
He spoke quickly, lowering his posture while dragging Logan into it, hoping to intimidate Ray.
Ability user versus ability user- it could end with both sides crippled. He probably didn’t want that either, right?
Ray’s eyes flickered with interest. He said to Theo and Killian, “Come inside.”

The two had no choice but to obey and enter the villa.
The moment they crossed the threshold, it felt as if they’d stepped straight into hell.
But did they dare refuse?
Once inside, both men were stunned.
The house was so warm.
And–holy shit–it held so many top–tier beauties!
Good lord. Aside from two who were slightly less striking, the other seven were all absolute stunners–faces flawless, figures explosive. Student uniforms, office–lady outfits… damn it, damn it. This was the kind of luxury only kings were supposed to
enjoy.
Ray lived with these women every day?
And he hadn’t dried up yet? Was he even a man?
Even in this situation, their eyes greedily swept over the women. One glance was never enough–faces, then chests, then waists, legs, hips. They couldn’t keep up, wishing they had more eyes.
Ray cleared his throat.
“Tell me about your boss.”
His voice was cold.
Theo and Killian shuddered, snapping back to their senses.
