My Reborn Apocalypse Begins with a Divorce novel Chapter 214

Ray was the second ability user Theo had come into contact with. It was no surprise how things ended up now.

Once Ray finished his questions, he gave Theo a shove. Theo was helplessly pushed into the spatial portal and vanished in an

instant.

The sight left Honey and the other women both stunned and terrified. A living, breathing persongone just like that.

Naturally, they were grateful to Ray. Without him, they wouldn’t be enjoying their current comfortable lives. But beneath that gratitude was a deeper fear.

This was their manand also the one who held their lives and deaths in his hands.

Only because Ray wasn’t a tyrant were they spared a life like slaves. Still, that didn’t change the essence of their relationship.

They were the canaries he kept.

Ray never hid this, nor did he bother with emotional manipulation. To him, these girls sold their bodies; he gave them a privileged life in return. It was a transaction.

He paid no attention to the women’s reactions and instead fell into thought.

Should he strike back now?

The enemy had already come knocking. Even if Ray hadn’t suffered any real losses, how could someone with his temperament possibly swallow this humiliation?

Besides, with Theo and his group dead here, a blood feud had already been forged. There was no chance this would end

peacefully.

Rather than waiting for them to attack again, it would be better to strike first and seize the initiative. Today. Right now.

Having made up his mind, Ray immediately checked the map.

It was closevery close.

Hamilton Gardens, a wellknown upscale residential complex. Only four kilometers away. Even if he kept his speed at a safetwenty kilometers per hour, it would take no more than twelve minutes.

Ray told the women to stay put and headed for the underground parking garage.

Fortunately, the blast site hadn’t affected the garage, so the road outside was still smooth. Otherwise, he would’ve had to walk a stretch first and then pull his car out of his otherworldly storage space.

After leaving the complex, he drove straight toward Hamilton Gardens.

Fifteen minutes later, he arrived.

He didn’t park at the main gate. Instead, he stopped a short distance away. He also avoided the front entrance entirelypulling a ladder from his otherworldly storage space, he scaled the wall and slipped inside.

Surprise was the whole point.

Logan was in Villa No. 3.

Ray had already confirmed it on the map. He moved quietly in that direction.

Would Logan’s people still bother posting guards? Probably not. After all, who was there to guard against in this apocalypse?

Even so, Ray stayed cautious, moving silently and keeping close to the walls. It took some time, but he eventually reached the door of Villa No. 3.

He knocked.

Who is it?someone asked from inside.

Ray already knew the situation. There were two guards in the villa, plus Logan and the original homeownersthree of them- for a total of six people.

You don’t even recognize my voice?Ray snapped, deliberately sounding angry. Theo sent me. I’ve got news for the boss. Open up already! It’s freezing to death out here!

His impatient tone dispelled any suspicion.

After all, in weather like this, who would willingly go outside and risk freezing to death? So where would an enemy come from?

The next second, with a click, the door opened.

Ray gave a slight nod. If they hadn’t opened it, he was ready to smash it in with a rock. That would’ve been even betterno chance of alerting Logan.

A frontal clash didn’t scare him. Not against any ability user.

With a spatial portal open right in front of him, what was there to fear?

In fact, he had already opened the portal flush against the door.

Even against small fry, he refused to be careless. After all, if he let his guard down, a single bullet could still take his life.
