Chapter 225
Ray remained unmoved.
He glanced at Shane and said calmly, “I’m only interested in women. Also, if your wife sells herself to me, she’s the only one who gets to sit down and eat. As for you, if you want to eat too, there are two
conditions. First, your wife has to agree to sell herself. Second, you kneel down and beg me to forgive the evil you committed against me back in high school.”
“Fuck-” Shane was about to curse, but when Ray’s sharp gaze swept over him, he swallowed the words and shut his mouth.
Alina bit her lip hard. She wasn’t a loose woman by nature, but the situation was brutal. Was she
supposed to starve to death with her dignity intact, or abandon her pride and sell her body just to survive?
She hesitated.
“Time’s limited,” Ray said unhurriedly. “Once I finish eating, I’m leaving. Miss the chance, and it’s gone.”
He took a few more bites, patted his stomach, and looked comfortably full.
In truth, he wasn’t hungry–at least, not in his stomach.
Then he began packing things up.
“Wait!” Shane blurted out, stopping him. The moment the word left his mouth, veins bulged on his forehead.
Alina’s expression changed instantly. She turned to him. “Honey, you-”
Even though Shane had only said “wait,” it already meant he was considering Ray’s terms.
“Trust me,” Shane whispered, his voice low, his eyes flashing with cunning. “We need to eat and drink our fill first. When he takes you to bed, you seduce him into taking off his clothes. Then you grab them and
run.
“He’ll be naked. In this kind of temperature, do you think he can chase you?
“We’ll take his car while he’s stuck! Once we have the car, we can go anywhere. We’ll survive. We’ll eat
meat again!”
In Shane’s mind, Ray was living so comfortably for one reason only–he had a vehicle that could still be driven in extreme weather. As long as they got the car, they could replace him.
Alina found the logic convincing and nodded repeatedly.
Given a choice, who would willingly sell their body?
With a plan in mind, Shane clenched his teeth and said, “Fine. Ray. We agree.”
Ray pointed at Alina. “She can eat first. As for you–come on, kneel down and apologize.”

The veins on Shane’s forehead throbbed again. He had to kneel first?
But could he refuse? In terms of raw strength, Ray had already proven they weren’t even on the same level.
The humiliation burned.
‘Fine. Just wait. Once I steal your car, I’ll humiliate you ten times over,‘ Shane thought seethingly.
“Well?” Ray raised an eyebrow.
Shane gritted his teeth, his knees buckling as he dropped to the floor.
“I’m sorry, Ray. I was young and ignorant back then. I bullied you. Please forgive me.”
Ray didn’t let him off so easily. He said flatly, “That’s not sincere enough. If you’re kneeling, you should show a little more sincerity. Don’t you know that?”
Since he’d already knelt, Shane had no choice but to go all the way. He began banging his head on the floor. Once. Twice. Three times.
Ray didn’t stop him, and Shane didn’t dare stop himself. After he’d hit his head against the floor more than twenty times, his head was spinning and his vision blurred. Only then did Ray say, “That’s enough.
You can eat now.”
Shane finally exhaled in relief and hurried over, devouring the food like a starving beast.
Ray watched calmly.
When the couple had whispered earlier, they’d tried to keep their voices low–but Ray’s physique had already improved. He wasn’t some mythical super–hearer, but his hearing was far sharper than before. Their conversation hadn’t escaped him.
Even if he hadn’t heard it, he could’ve guessed. And with his caution, would he ever let them succeed?
‘You want to freeload off me? Heh. Just wait. You’ll be crying for your parents soon enough,‘ Ray smirked.
Both sides were scheming, each convinced they held the winning hand. The difference was that one side truly had power–while the other only thought they did.
After a long while, Alina finally ate her fill, even letting out a small burp. The beer had flushed her cheeks pink, making her look even more alluring.
It had to be said–Shane was lucky. Alina might not measure up to women like Honey or Molly, but she was still an easy eighty, maybe eighty–two or eighty–three. Her figure was outstanding, her curves full, her chest pushing high against her sleepwear.
Ray, already restless from absorbing abilities, felt his fire burn even hotter at the sight of her seductive
charm.
He picked up the kettle warming on the stove–the hot pot had already been moved to the table–and

said to Alina, “Your turn to keep your promise.”
Alina felt guilty and instinctively glanced at her husband.
Shane gave her an encouraging look that said, ‘You’ve got this.”
He had complete confidence in his wife’s allure. As long as she performed normally, Ray would lose himself. Then she could make up an excuse like, “Close your eyes, I have a surprise“, grab his clothes, and run.
