My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 22

Lucian walked over, picked up the folder, tore it open, and pulled out a few pages, handing them to her.

"What's this?" she asked.

"The agreement the lawyers drafted. Take a look."

Seraphina took it and scanned the pages.

The agreement was incredibly detailed, with clear clauses and well-defined rights and responsibilities.

The assets under her name remained solely hers, and the Langford family would not interfere. After the child was born, regardless of whether she chose to end the marriage, Lucian would provide full financial support. In the event of a divorce, she could choose to take the child or leave them with him—everything would be entirely up to her...

Seraphina finished reading the last page and looked up. "This agreement..."

"Is there a problem?"

"No," Seraphina shook her head. "It's just... the terms you're offering are too generous."

Lucian's expression remained passive. "You are the mother of my child. It's what I ought to do."

Seraphina was quiet for a few seconds before she picked up a pen and signed her name on the final page.

"Done." She handed the agreement back.

Lucian took it, glanced at the signature, and set it aside.

"By the way, this is for you."

After speaking, Lucian pulled an exclusive black credit card from his wallet and held it out to Seraphina. "From now on, whatever you want to buy, just buy it."

Seraphina was taken aback and quickly refused, "Lucian, that's really not necessary."

"It's for the baby's expenses." The reasoning was bulletproof.

"Mommy, take it! Daddy has plenty of money. You can use it to buy me lots of fun toys and yummy food!" Little Bean's eyes lit up at the sight of the black card, eagerly trying to persuade her.
