"Sebastian, you absolute jerk!"
She covered her face, sobbing so hard her whole body shook.
She had given up everything for him, devoted herself to him completely.
And what did he do?
He tossed her aside the second he was bored, without so much as an explanation.
Mid-sob, Sienna suddenly froze.
She lifted her tear-streaked face, a sharp, cold glint flashing in her eyes.
No, she couldn't just admit defeat like this.
Sebastian was hers, and no one else was going to have him.
Who the hell did this Yolanda think she was?
Sienna snatched her phone off the couch and dialed her private investigator.
"Keep eyes on him. The second something happens, you tell me."
She hung up and collapsed back onto the cushions, staring blankly at the ceiling.
The room was dead silent.
Her mind drifted back to two years ago, to the very first time Sebastian had asked her out.
It had been raining. He stood outside her office building, holding a black umbrella, waiting for her.
His trousers were soaked from the rain, but there hadn't been a trace of impatience on his face.
When he saw her, he offered a faint smile. "Let's go. I got us a table at that sushi place you love."
Back then, she felt like the luckiest woman in the world.
Sebastian had been so good to her—attentive and gentle.
She thought she had finally found true love. She thought his so-called fiancée, Seraphina, was nothing more than a placeholder.
But now?
He wouldn't even answer her calls.
...
The next day.
Sienna received a text from her investigator.
