Chapter 545 Fighting for Remy
Why were they like this?
Didn’t they know about first–come, first–served?
Emma looked at them as they fought to hold Remy. She couldn’t help laughing.

Remy had so many dads who loved him. His childhood would be full of love and laughter. He would grow up happy. The house would be even livelier in the future.
Emma turned and looked at Silas beside her.
“Remy is your cub. You’re just standing there and not even trying to hold him.”
Silas shook his head with a helpless smile. “I want to, but Emy, look at them. I can’t beat them.”
After he said that, Silas wrapped an arm around Emma’s waist.
“It’s fine. They grab my cub, so I grab their female.”
Emma froze and stayed silent.
This man really is something.
Silas looked at Remy, who was playing happily. He lowered his voice and spoke to Emma.
“Let them watch Remy. I’ll take you for a walk around.”
As he spoke, Silas held her waist and walked to the side.
Calum saw them leave and was about to follow.
Remy was in Drake’s arms. When he saw Calum move, he reached out right away.
“Daddy Calum, I want a hug.”
Calum hurried over and took him.
That still wasn’t enough for Remy. He told Lucien and Marcus to go take pictures of a crystal he liked. He told Edric and Kieran to get beast cores for him.
He had just turned into human form. He needed energy.
When he started absorbing energy, Remy said he felt a little unwell. That dragged Alaric over, too.
Drake and Corvin didn’t get to rest either. Remy kept them all busy.
After Remy saw Silas take Emma out of sight, he finally felt at ease and started absorbing the beast cores.
He knew it.
That fox Alaric isn’t good enough.

He couldn’t erase his inherited memories at all.
Silas‘ worry was also unnecessary.
He didn’t just inherit Silas‘ memories. He also inherited Emma’s memories and human emotions.
Silas‘ memories were dark and cruel. He had Emma’s memories and the same human feelings.
That was why he could manage his mindset better than Silas. There was nothing dark or twisted in him.
He knew right from wrong. He knew what he was doing. He knew what he could do and what he couldn’t.
He could even control his emotions better than Silas.
He couldn’t tell Silas any of this. Those were Emma’s memories. They were a secret.
Silas led Emma away. When he saw Lucien and the others didn’t follow, he smiled at her.
“Emy, there are a lot of good things in the storage area. I’ll take you to pick some.”
Emma had wanted to ask him about this.
“Silas, are all your businesses kind of shady like this?”
Not exactly clean. Not exactly illegal either.
Silas sounded a little unsure. “Not all of them. Most are, but there are some normal ones.”
Emma stayed silent.
So most of them are.
Silas walked with her toward the storage area while he explained.
“These kinds of businesses make money fast. Don’t worry, though. This is an auction house, but everything here is legal.”
They stood in the hallway. Emma saw no one around. She pushed Silas against the wall.
She held his chin and looked at him with a half-smile.
“Why are you nervous? Are you afraid I’ll see you auctioning off sub–females and males, then think you do bad things? Are you afraid I’ll think you’re a bad vine and stop liking you?”
Silas looked at her seriously and shook his head.
“I know you won’t. I just don’t want you to misunderstand.”
He wanted to look as perfect as he could in front of her.
Silas stared at her. Emma started to feel uncomfortable.
She let go of his chin and was about to speak. Silas pulled her into his arms.
His arms wrapped tight around her waist. He held her close. His warm breath brushed her ear.

“Emy,” his voice was low and rough with held back want, “Remy is grown now.”
He had thought he really had to wait three years. He hadn’t expected freedom to come this fast.
“I know,” Emma said.
She was worried someone would pass by. She pushed him lightly. “Let go first.”
“You don’t know,” Silas said. After she pushed him, he held her tighter.
He looked straight at her.
“Today was my turn to be with you. I already gave up my time during the day. Now it’s night. You’re mine right now.”
“Calm down first,” Emma said.
She looked left and right. “This is a hallway.”
Anyone could come at any time.
Silas lowered his head and kissed her lips lightly.
“Then we go to the storage room. You can take your time picking things.”
After he said that, Silas picked her up, turned around, and quickly walked into a hidden room.
