Chapter 626 His Endless Worries
“Emy, if you don’t like it, I’ll take this outfit off right now.”
“No.” Emma quickly stopped him. “I like it. I really like it.”

“You like it?” Calum looked at her, stunned. Her eyes are bright. She actually seems to really like the way I look. That master didn’t lie
to me.
“Emy, you really like me dressed like this?” he asked again, still not quite believing it.
She nodded seriously. “I really do–it’s hot and wild. I can’t help wanting to kiss you.” She knew he had come tonight to bond with her.
Before this, Emma had asked Calum, Malrik, and Kieran if they wanted to follow a bonding sequence, but none of them cared to follow it in order.
Whoever got lucky went first.
Last night, she’d just had cubs. Even though her body had fully healed after ascending, Malrik still made her rest first and didn’t rush the bonding.
Her body was magnificent tonight, and it was Calum’s turn.
Hearing her say she liked it, Calum let out a massive sigh of relief. “When I came in, I was honestly worried. What if you hated how I dressed?”
He reached out, pulled her into his arms, and walked over to the couch. He used his ability to dry her hair while holding her.
“What if I didn’t like it? Then, what would you do?” Emma asked curiously.
He pulled another outfit out of his storage band. “If you don’t like this one, I’ll put on this one instead.”
She looked at the set of clothes he had pulled out this time and twitched the corner of her mouth. “Don’t tell me you bought this one after learning from Silas, too?”
This style really nails the very essence of Silas.
He shook his head. “No way. You’re seriously underestimating me. I don’t need Silas to shop for clothes like this. I could pick up tons on my own.”
Emma said, “Well, then you really are something.” Her tone had a tiny edge, almost like she was grinding her teeth.
Calum suddenly felt that not wearing the second outfit was definitely the right call.
Emma sat up straight and studied his look carefully tonight. She opened Lightcore and snapped a few pictures of Calum. “You look this good. I have to make sure I save it.”
Calum played along, striking a few different poses for her. “If you like it, I can dress like this every day.”
She put Lightcore away, looped her arms around his neck, and kissed him first.

“Emy…” His body shivered slightly at her bold move.

Her lips were soft, carrying her unique scent. It was like a spark had ignited inside him, a fire racing through every vein, making his blood boil.
He wrapped his hands around her waist to keep her from sliding off the couch, then responded almost greedily to her kiss.
Calum squinted his eyes, savoring the moment while keeping an eye on Emma’s reaction. After all, it was his first time, and he didn’t want to overdo it and make her dislike it.
I have to pay close attention to Ms. Tibarn’s reactions to make sure she’s enjoying this. It’s definitely not some weird fetish. Definitely not seeing her react like she’s falling for me.
After a while, Emma’s breathing grew uneven. She opened her eyes, intending to push Calum away for a moment, and the moment she did, she realized he was just staring at her.
She couldn’t help rolling her eyes.
“Emy, what’s wrong?” Calum asked when she suddenly paused. His voice caught slightly, carrying a hint of confusion and even a little hurt. Why does she suddenly stop? Am I kissing her wrong?
Emma pursed her lips and whispered, “Why don’t you close your eyes when you kiss?”
Does he not like it? Or is there some kind of weird thing he’s into?
He felt a little guilty about being asked that, but couldn’t show it. He didn’t want her to think he was a creep. He just stammered nervously. “I… I’m a little nervous since it’s my first time, so…”
Seeing him genuinely tense, Emma didn’t doubt him at all. However, now that he admitted he was nervous, she definitely wasn’t. “Relax. We’ll take it slow.”
She felt like a pro with Calum, all flustered. She stood up and grabbed his tie from his chest, pulling him to his feet.
They moved toward the bed.
When they reached it, Emma untied Calum’s necktie and shoved him onto the mattress. Then she leaned over and draped the tie over his eyes.
The soft fabric covered his vision, plunging the world into darkness. Losing sight sharpened every other sense.
He could hear her gentle breath clearly, right next to his ear. The warm air brushed across his sensitive earlobe like a feather, sending tiny shivers down his spine.
“Feeling nervous now?” Emma whispered, her voice low and playful, leaning close to his ear with a teasing edge.
