Chapter 930 Leave Us A Path Out
farcus, Alaric, and Drake all skipped a beat.
Alaric was the first to clear his throat. “Emma has gone up to rest. I’ll head to the kitchen to prepare some of her favorite snacks and bring them up in a bit..*
The snacks can wait.” Silas cut him off, lifting his gaze. Thibe eyes, usually as gentle as jade, were now unfathomable.
Alaric felt a chill up his spine.
Marcus glanced at Alaric and drawled in his usual half-dead voice, “I’m tired: I’m going back to my coffin to sleep.”
Silas turned to him. “If you’re planning on having me find someone to send you back to Frostveil for an eternal slumber, feel free to
go now”
Marcus silenced himself.
Having finished with Marcus, Silas looked at Drake. “And you? What’s your excuse?”
Drake glanced at the other two, then back at Silas, and shook his head. “None.”
Silas nodded with satisfaction. “Do you know why I’m not letting you leave?”
None of them spoke.
They weren’t like Corvin-they weren’t that stupid. They knew exactly why Silas was holding them back. It was because they had stayed silent while Emma suffered through that awkward encounter with Andre.
At the time, they hadn’t spoken because they weren’t sure of her attitude toward Andre.
They didn’t know if she wanted him to stay.
If they had opened their mouths, it would have been to kick him out, but since they didn’t know her mind, they figured speaking up would be pointless-or worse, it might make her angrier.
At the sight of their silence, the smile on Silas’ face deepened. “It seems I don’t need to elaborate. You three are very well aware.”
୮ Alaric couldn’t help but speak up. “We’re all old foxes here; stop trying to intimidate us.” He looked at Silas. “Emma told you, didn’t she? Just say it-how does she want to punish us?”
Marcus nodded. “Whatever Ms. Tibarn decides, we’ll take it without complaint.”
Even though Drake remained silent, his attitude was the same.
Silas quirked an eyebrow and leisurely opened his lightcore. “In that case, we can get straight to the point.” His slender fingers swiped across the screen. “Emma actually couldn’t think of a way to punish you.”
The three men were momentarily stunned.
“She couldn’t think of a way?” Marcus asked. “Does that mean she’s too soft-hearted to punish us?”
Silas couldn’t help but think, This wolf certainly has a vivid imagination.

“You’re dreaming.” he said flatly
Marcus stared at him speechlessty.
Alaric pursed his lips, a thought occurring to him. “So, Emma’s stance is that since she couldn’t think of a punishment, she’s handed the matter over to you to deal with?”
“No way!” Marcus’ eyes widened in shock. “With your dark methods, will we even survive? You might as well just kill the three of us right now.”
In this house, he wasn’t afraid of Jim or Drake, despite their high cultivation. Aside frora upsetting Emma, the person he feared
most was Silas.
“You wish.” Silas rolled his eyes. “If I killed you, how would I explain it to Emma?”,
Drake added, “Falling into his hands is a fate worse than death.”
Drake strongly suspected that Silas had some prophetic trick up his sleeve-that he’d calculated this would happen and returned home specifically for them
With Silas’ workload, he shouldn’t have had time to pop back, yet here he was, perfectly timed.
