On Her Daddy's Bed (Adeline and Luciano) novel Chapter 82

Author’s POV.

It’s been two months since Axel took Alexia back in as his sister.

Every single thing has been going according to their plans, and it has been favoring them.

Axel and Hazel are still in their usual love moment, loving each other diligently and wrapping up their little misunderstandings before they got to another wall.

Alex and Alexia have been loving each other diligently, and Alexia felt happy. She hasn’t been loved this way in her entire life.

Today was the party day. Axel had organized a welcome party for Alexia; it was time for him to inform the entire world that he had found his long-lost sister, and his happiness knew no bounds.

“Damn, Alexia, the makeup tech ate and left no crumbs! You look super hot!” Hazel hyped, and Alexia chuckled, staring at the beautiful reflection of herself.

“Thank you, sister-in-law. You look prettier. I mean, your beauty is radiant,” she complimented, and Hazel gave her a sly smile.

“You have been calling me that for a couple of times now, Alexia. Come off it.”

“You deserve just that name, pretty. I mean, Axel is so into you that he doesn’t even see other ladies.”

Hazel chuckled at Alexia’s words.

“But he is taking time to put the ring.” She wiggled her fingers, and Alexia flashed her a smile.

“You would get it soon, okay?”

“Is that you giving me a tip on your brother’s plan?”

“Not at all,” Alexia chuckled.

“I mean, we barely have much time to talk. It’s always work, then you.”

“Is that jealousy?” Hazel asked teasingly, and Alexia chuckled.

“Not at all, baby girl. He isn’t Alex; I would literally have anyone’s head for that.”

Hazel smiled and pulled Alexia’s cheeks gently.

“I’m glad we are getting the best of our lives, and your brother is everything I have ever dreamt of.”

“I know, right?” Alexia pouted.

“It started as a fuck-mate, but now, it’s nothing close to that. I love him so much and want to be with him for the rest of my life.”

Alexia smiled. Seeing her best friend happy was such a blessing—to not just have Hazel as a best friend but as a future sister-in-law. She knew the love Axel had for Hazel was huge and could not be compared to another. It was definitely leading to something great.

“Enough of the chit-chat, girls. You both can’t stay in a room without indulging in long talks,” Axel teased, walking in with his hand on his shoulder.

Hazel’s breath hitched as she stared at the drop-dead gorgeous sight of Axel. Her mouth watered as she stared at him, and she cursed inwardly.

“Fuck!” He was everything she ever asked for.

Axel moved closer to her and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

“You look really stunning, momma.”

“Thank you,” Hazel replied after batting her lashes.

“You both look like a prepared bride and groom,” Alexia teased, staring at them, and Axel smiled, staring down at the short Hazel.

She flashed Axel a smile as he walked closer, looking stunning in his native blue dress.

Hazel stood up, ready to hug him, but her head spun dangerously, and she felt herself missing it. Unable to hold herself, she lost all self-control, but Axel had gripped her before she could get to the floor.

“Hazel!” His voice was laced with worry as he tapped on her cheeks, but his words fell on deaf ears.

“Get the car ready!” he yelled, ignoring the crowd, and almost immediately, Alex arranged the car while Axel ran into it with Hazel in his arms.

“Move the damn car,” he yelled at the driver immediately after he got in, holding Hazel to himself and staring at her worriedly.

His heart beat rapidly at the thought of losing Hazel.

***************

Axel arrived at the hospital, and this time, Alex and Alexia had ridden in another car to the hospital.

Axel was pacing to and fro, waiting for the doctor. Just then, the doctor walked out of the emergency room.

“What’s wrong with my woman? Is she fine?” He rushed over to the doctor, who flashed Axel a smile.

“Mr. Darwin, Hazel is fine.”

Axel stared at the doctor with a blank expression. He could barely understand why the doctor was smiling that way.

“What’s the problem, doctor?” Alex asked, taking a step forward, and the doctor broke the heart-melting news.

“Miss Hazel is pregnant.”
