Chapter Thirty One
LATER THAT EVENING
“Slow down, Damon. We need to talk.”
“I have nothing to say to you. I already spoke with your father.” Damon replied coldly and jumped into the driver
seat.
Before he could start the car engine, the passenger door opened and Bella slid in beside him.
“How can you say that to me Damon? I’m your wife for God’s sake. How do you expect me to just accept everything you told my father?” Bella said with tears in her eyes.
“Incase your father didn’t tell you Bels, I already have a wife. And it’s not you.”
Without waiting for her response, Damon started the car and drove out of the pack house.
“Is it because of her? Have you been seeing that bitch behind my back? Is that why you’re choosing her over me?” Bella asked between sobs.
“Whether I’m seeing Amber or not is none of your concern. And you will be wise to address her with respect.”
“Respect?” Bella scoffed. “You’d expect to me to show respect to that bitch? The same woman who stole you from me once and is trying to do it again?”
Damon said nothing and just continued driving. He was tired of having this conversation with her. Why couldn’t she just take a hint and let him be?
Bella stared at him expecting an answer, but when she didn’t get one, she decided to let go and asked something else that has been bugging her mind instead.
“When are we making a baby?”
Silence.
“I was thinking today… you’re free and I’m also free. We could spend the night together, make a baby. That would give the pack something to talk about to take their mind off the recent attacks. What do you think, baby?” Bella smiled seductively, adjusting her dress to expose more of her chest.
“I won’t be sleeping with you tonight.” Damon answered without even sparing her a glance.
“What? Why?” She frowned.
“I will be spending the night with my daughter.”
“Come on Damon, you can’t keep doing this to me. You’re married to me, not your daughter. Why do you keep avoiding me? You haven’t touch me in three years. Am I not attractive enough for you?”
“You really want to have a baby with me that badly?” Damon asked, turning around to look at her for the first time since he started driving.
“Yes!” Bella exclaimed eagerly.
“Then you will have to wait forever.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Incase your father didn’t tell you, I’m never having a child with you Bella. So don’t ever bring this matter up with me again.”

Bella heart fell. There was no way she could live without having a child with Damon.
“Why would you say that to me Damon? Is this because of Amber? Because you can’t get over her?”
“Why are you asking if you already know the answer.”
“I don’t get it Damon. She doesn’t love you. Why do you keep chasing after a woman who wants nothing to do with you when I’m here for you, willing to love you.”
“The only reason Amber doesn’t want me is because you frained her and manipulated me into believing your lies. Because of you, I treated her like she was nothing. I hurt her. But that’s in the past now. I’ve realized the truth and am willing to do anything to win her love back. Nothing will stop me from achieving that, not even you.”
“So I’d advise you to go your own way, Bella, because I don’t love you. I regret every single day since the moment I met you. You’re nothing but a cruel, heartless woman and I was a fool not to see it sooner.”
Bella could feel the tears welling in her eyes. “Is that really how you see me Damon? As an heartless woman?”
“Isn’t that what you are? You framed Amber when you knew she had nothing to do with my father’s death. You poisoned her when she was pregnant. And don’t even get me started on my father’s murder. You told me Amber poisoned his tea, but later, I discovered your personal maid did it. When we captured her and were about to interrogate her, she turned up dead. And the last person she spoke to… was you.”
Bella’s lips trembled. “I… I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she stammered.
