Oops Wrong Girl to Bully (Angelina) by Xena Kessler novel Chapter 53

Chapter 53 *

Angelina’s POV

Three days later, after school.

Mia and I left the classroom together, heading toward the school gates.

“Wait, so people are saying you just slept through the exam and then finished it in thirty minutes? That’s crazy!”

Mia suddenly remembered and turned to ask me.

I nodded. “Yeah.”

In the past, I was just like Logan-sleeping through exams. Or at best, I’d wake up in the last five minutes, panic-bubble random answers, and turn it in. In Mia’s eyes, the fact that I actually spent thirty minutes working on the test was probably major progress.

As we talked, we’d already walked out the school gates.

Mia grabbed her backpack straps and said excitedly:

“Aria, we’re only freshmen! If you wanna start actually trying in school, it’s not too late! I can help you study anytime, seriously. Just say the word!”

She had no idea that the person standing in front of her didn’t need any tutoring at all. But just this gesture alone proved that Mia genuinely saw me as a friend. I could feel that sincerity.

“Okay, I didn’t refuse.

“Alright then, see you tomorrow!” Mia waved enthusiastically and headed off toward home.

I smiled slightly and started walking in the opposite direction.

I’d barely taken a few steps when a car pulled up in front of me and honked.

Like a few days ago, the window rolled down and Leo stuck his head out:

Hey sis, you ready for today? We’re racing the Howlers. You remember, right?”

The Howlers-that was the new racing crew Leo had mentioned a few days ago, the one that started up the same time as his team. Three days ago, Leo had sent them a challenge, and they’d accepted. Both sides agreed to meet tonight at Badlands Circuit.

“Yeah, I remember.”

I pulled open the car door, tossed my backpack onto the seat, climbed in, and shut the door. Quick and efficient, no wasted movement.

“We’re cutting it close. Buckle up, let’s roll!”

Leo hit the gas hard. The car shot forward smoothly, heading toward Badlands Circuit.

Sitting in the car, I remembered the private matter I’d secretly asked Kingfisher to handle for me recently, so I logged onto the dark web to

check.

Sure enough, Kingfisher had already delivered my secret weapon.

Without hesitation, I sent a simple message back: Bring it to the Badlands Circuit. Twenty minutes. I want to see it there.

Not long after I messaged Kingfisher, Leo said:

“We’re here.”

I closed the dark web browser and got out of the car.

At first glance, Badlands Circuit didn’t seem very crowded tonight. Maybe because it had drizzled earlier while I was still in study hall, soaking

the ground everywhere. Everyone had taken shelter under the covered areas. But when I looked up toward the viewing areas in the distance,

the crowd watching the race was just as big as usual.

I followed Leo toward the track.

From far away, I could see a dozen sports cars parked along the track, with two groups of people standing nearby.

One group was obviously the Apex crew-Jax, Blake, and the others. The other group, a bunch of cocky-looking guys, had to be the Howlers.

Before I even reached the crowd, I heard one of the Howlers-a short, ugly dude-pointing at Jax and saying arrogantly:

“Apex, huh? Yeah, we’ll see about that. With those piece-of-shit cars you’re rolling, don’t come crying when you lose!*

Jax was pissed and raised his fist to swing, but Blake and the others held m back.

When the short guy-barely 5’2-saw me approaching, his eyes widened:

“Oh! You guys brought a chick to watch you lose?”

The short guy clearly loved running his mouth, talking like a damn machine gun. Ugly as hell, and his words were just as nasty.

He looked me up and down and started getting gross:

“Hey gorgeous, why you with these clowns? Come with me instead-I actually know how to win!”

Hearing this, the whole Howlers crew burst out laughing.

This scene felt familiar. A few days ago, Jax and his guys had said something similar. But compared to them, this short creep was way more

disgusting.

I frowned in annoyance but ignored them.

“Hey, Wyatt, fuck you, asshole! Who the hell do you think you’re talking to!

Jax was furious and was about to throw a punch.

To, Justin’s here!”

But suddenly, Wyatt pointed at a Maserati GranCabrio that was pulling and shouted loudly.

Moments later, the Maserati came to a sharp stop right in front of everyone.

From the convertible, a guy flipped his hair dramatically and stepped out of the car.

Justin captain of the Howlers.

When Wyatt had called our cars pieces of shit earlier, Tax and the others wouldn’t argue back. That’s because Justin’s family was loaded-he’d bought every single one of his crew members a high-end sports car.

Jax and his guys were rich kids too, but their allowances had limits. The ars they drove weren’t top-tier, but they were still worth more than most people would ever see in their lifetime. But compared to Justin’s ride and the cars he’d bought his crew? Ours dropped several levels.

Wyatt started kissing Justin’s ass, practically throwing himself onto the Maserati like he’d never seen a car before in his life, yelling

obnoxiously:

“Damn! Justin, is this that sick ride of yours? The one worth over three Hundred grand?!”

He said it loud enough to grab everyone’s attention

Justin clearly loved the ass-kissing. He nodded proudly. Tep. Just had it modded too. Performance upgrades all around.”

His words drew more envious reactions. Even Leo and his crew looked atle jealous.

Everyone except me. I couldn’t care less. To me, a three-hundred-thousand-dollar car was garbage.
