Ophelia Gets Thrown Out (Ophelia) novel Chapter 506

Chapter 506

With a few loud bangs, rose petals came raining down from above, filling the air like a scene straight out of a romance movie.

Ophelia just stood there, stunned. ‘Seriously, what kind of setup is this?’ she thought, totally thrown off.

The whole venue had been transformed into a fairytale wonderland, everything sparkled and shimmered, so dreamy it almost felt unreal.

Right at her feet, a carpet of fresh petals stretched all the way forward, leading to Alaric at the far end. He was decked out in a flawless suit, every detail on point, looking like he’d stepped out of a magazine.

‘What is this guy even trying to pull now?’ Ophelia thought, half amused, half speechless.

It was obvious this wasn’t any ordinary contract signing, and Alaric had orchestrated this whole scene, all for Ophelia.

“Ophelia!” Victoria called out, waving with a bright smile. “Don’t just stand there, come on in!”

“Ophelia, go to your fiancé,” Owen said, dressed up like a little pageboy as he came over to her side, clearly ready to walk with her.

“What’s going on?” Ophelia was completely thrown off. It wasn’t just her mom and Owen either.

Everyone from the Rowle family was there, beaming at her, their smiles full of encouragement.

Each of them held a bouquet of roses, and as Ophelia made her way down the petal-strewn path, they handed her their flowers one by one, their faces lit up with genuine smiles and heartfelt blessings.

Surrounded by her family’s loving words and with Owen, dressed as her little pageboy, by her side, Ophelia finally walked up to Alaric.

“Ophelia,” Alaric said, his gaze gentle as he looked at her, a soft smile on his lips. “I set all this up for you. Do you like it?” “What’s so special about today?” Ophelia asked, looking genuinely confused. ‘Did I forget some important date or something?’ she wondered.

“It’s our anniversary,” Alaric replied, arching an eyebrow with a hint of mystery.

“Anniversary?” Ophelia echoed, even more lost.

‘What anniversary? I seriously don’t remember us having one, she thought, completely at a loss.

Before Ophelia could react, Alaric got down on one knee, fished a velvet box out of his pocket, and opened it with a serious, almost trembling hand, holding it up for her to see.
