A man with short white hair stood on a low cliff, gazing at the gorillas armed with bone armour growing out of their bodies. The stronger they are, the more spikes running from their head to their back.
The weakest of these silver furred gorillas was a Saint Tier. Dread settled in at this sight. When they entered this Antarctica dungeon, they faced King Tier wyverns, Throne Tier snails, Saint Tier tiger clan, Divine Tier dragons and now, this.
Caspian, the guild master of Justice Guild, a man whose summon had reached the peak of Divine Tier and evolved to the esteemed Origin Tier after grueling fights since he entered this dungeon, frowned deeply.
"I thought those two dragons were the boss. What sort of dungeon is this?!" Eliza, the Vice Guild Master who had joined them some months back, looked around. This dungeon, known as the biggest dungeon to ever open, seemed endless.
All she could see was mountains and trees. Even their scouts reported the same thing. After gathering all their forces, along with other guilds, they killed the dragons but it seemed like even those dragons were merely wandering mini bosses.
Now, they could see an army of gorillas. Their leader had to be within that huge dark cave. The height of the cave entrance alone was close to fifty feet.
If the gorilla boss was that big, things might have been easier for them as that would make it an easier target but Eliza doubted the gorilla was that big.
"We’ve been gathering lots of resources from this dungeon. This boss, I think it might be an Origin Tier one. For now, let’s leave the dungeon. The harvest team should keep harvesting more. Everything here is much better than the natural resources on earth." Caspian turned. It was too risky to fight this right now.
This would be the first time in months he would be leaving this dungeon. Three summoners with summons that could open portals activated their abilities and almost a hundred and fifty elite members of the Justice Guild went through it.
They appeared at a snowy expanse, miles upon miles away and found almost a thousand people standing there, all from different renowned guilds around the globe.
Caspian couldn’t even ask why they were all gathered here as this reason was right before his eyes. The blue swirling gate was now black and crackled with blue lightning.
Caspian doubted his eyes. All these guilds here, including his, have been killing the beasts in this dungeon for months now, how in the world did a dungeon outbreak occur.
Eliza locked eyes with Alfred, the Guild Master of Monster Ant Guild, a famous Australian guild with lots of guild members from the Eastern dungeon. This was a special guild where all the members had Asian Weaver Ants as summons.
It was also the number one guild with the highest number of dual summoners. They single handedly fought back one of history’s most deadly red gates, a gate that almost devoured Australia.
"Guild Master Alfred." Eliza approached him.
Alfred smiled softly. "I see you guys are back."
"What’s going on with the gate? Is it really an outbreak?" Caspian asked with a strong tone. There was no way he would smile with this man who tried to snatch his Vice away. The fact that he almost succeeded always made Caspian clench his teeth.
"How am I supposed to know?" Alfred shot back.
Caspian clenched his fist.
"Let me handle this, Guild Master." Eliza whispered to him. Caspian turned and left, allowing Eliza to face Alfred alone.
"That doesn’t look like a normal dungeon break." Eliza said.
"If it was, we would have still been able to leave. I think it’s caused by something." The moment Alfred said that, Eliza’s mind went to the gorilla cave they saw.
Could it be?
Her eyes slowly widened.
"Humans..." A deep voice rang from the woods, so loud it felt like several speakers were used to amplify the voice. Everyone turned back and saw a being walk out of the forest.
