By the end of the day, the news of Kane’s affair with his beta had caused an uproar on the internet. 

The trending topics were all centered around Kane–all accusations. 

Just a month ago, Kane’s courtship ceremony had caused a massive sensation. He had even declared that his mate ceremony would be the grandest the world had ever seen. 

Everyone had been eagerly awaiting this so–called “ceremony of the century.” 

But when the event turned into a funeral, with news that the Omega, unable to bear her Alpha’s betrayal, had taken her own life, and that her coffin was sent directly to the ceremony venue, 

Kane’s image of a devoted man crumbled in an instant. 

The once most desirable Alpha had now become a reviled figure, blamed for driving his own Omega to death.
