When Aria returned to the room at home, she felt the indent on the bed, and the air was thick with a blend of vanilla and pheromones. The realization that Kane and the Beta had tangled here made her rush to the bathroom, uncontrollably retching.

When Kane returned and saw her distress, he panicked immediately.

“Little wolf, did you eat something bad? I’ll call the healer right away!”

Aria, her eyes red, pressed down on his hand.

“I’m fine... I just thought of something disgusting.”

Kane knelt down, his face filled with anguish as he patted her back.

“Who turned my adorable little wolf into this? Tell me, and I’ll tear them apart!”

Aria’s lips curled into a bitter smile.
