Angelica didn’t call out for help, or rather, she just couldn’t accept that her fate was now in Victoria’s hands, that she’d have to swallow her pride and beg Victoria to spare her.

If she had to ask for help, she’d have to make Simon do the begging for her.

But Simon just stared at Victoria, saying nothing.

Victoria took out her acupuncture kit and quickly inserted three needles into each of the two poisoned guests who had called for help first. Then she rummaged through her bag, pulled out a small bottle, poured out two pills, and handed one to each of them.

“Swallow it.” Victoria ordered.

The two poisoned guests didn’t hesitate. Before anyone could even bring them water, they quickly swallowed the pills.

Next, Victoria grabbed another small black jar from her bag, opened it, and tipped the black leeches onto the legs of the two patients.

The two black leeches immediately latched onto the bite wounds and began to feed.

Some of the guests nearby shuddered at the sight of the leeches, whispering among themselves.

‘Man, Victoria is seriously weird! Who even brings stuff like that with them?”

“Yeah, and it looks like she actually breeds these things herself.”

‘So she really brought all those poisonous bugs and snakes here?”

‘Let’s see if she can save them first, then we’ll talk about it.”

Simon’s eyes darkened. ‘These people are already freaking out over a few leeches. If they ever find out Victoria keep venomous snakes in her house, they will probably lose their minds.’

But the renowned doctor was left utterly stunned and in awe.

‘Amazing! Absolutely incredible! Miss Binder, who taught you this acupuncture technique? You can find the best spots so fast and so precisely, adjusting for each person’s unique condition!”

Before Victoria could answer, Stephan jumped in. “We gave her medical books and basic theory, but the girl figured all this advanced acupuncture and medicine–making out herself.”

The doctor was in disbelief. “A genius, no doubt about it! I’ve spent half my life in medicine, and just being a little above average got me where I am. Miss Binder, with talent like yours, you’re bound to leave a legendary mark in medical history!”

Calvin and Gerry both looked proud and appreciative at the doctor’s praise for Victoria.

The other guests glanced at Victoria with a mix of skepticism and curiosity,

Victoria couldn’t care less about the way their attitudes shifted.

In less than five minutes, the bluish–purple color on the two poisoned guests‘ faces and lips began to fade, and the severe pain and numbness in their bodies eased up significantly.

The other said, “Yeah, I can finally catch my breath while talking.”

Noticing their bodies recovering, both guests‘ faces lit up with relief and joy.

No one expected that Victoria’s needles, a pill, and a couple of leeches could deliver such immediate results. It was like magic.

Seeing this, the other poisoned guests who hadn’t been treated yet began to plead, “Miss Binder, please help me too.”

‘Please, Miss Binder, help me.”

All five poisoned guests, except Angelica, were now desperately begging Victoria for help.

Victoria replied coolly, “Relax, I’ll take care of you all one at a time. None of you are in real danger, though someone’s a special case.”

As she said this, she cast a look at the Binder family’s table, then picked up her acupuncture kit and started working on the ɔther five victims, handing each one a pill.

Julia and Simon both looked visibly upset.

Angelica had been poisoned earlier and more seriously than the others, and now she was the only one left not knowing if Victoria would even bother to save her. She was on the verge of losing it.

As the minutes passed, six poisoned guests were gradually recovering, but Angelica was still wracked with pain. Her anxiety peaked, and she suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood.

‘Angelica!” Simon shouted, panic in his voice.

Victoria glanced over at Angelica’s situation, but remained utterly indifferent.

Someone finally couldn’t take it anymore and blurted out.

“Miss Binder, why don’t you go check on Angelica? She looks like she’s on death’s door! No matter how much bad blood there is between you two, you can’t just stand by and watch her die, right?”

Victoria moved the leeches to the last poisoned guest’s wound, then looked up and shot a glance at the young man who had spoken up for Angelica.

“You’re so kind. Would you be willing to swap your life for hers?”
