Queen Of Revenge And Glory (Victoria and Jackson) novel Chapter 178

Chapter 178

Victoria’s words made Julia’s eyes widen in shock and anger. You little brat, how dare you talk to me like that? Have you forgotten something?

Victoria replied bluntly, I haven’t forgotten. You kidnapped my mom, and even sent me her ring finger with the wedding ring still on it, threatening me with her life to make me obey your family’s orders?

The Clark family finally realized that they had threatened Victoria with Daisy’s life just to force her to apologize to them.

Julia froze for a moment, staring at Victoria’s reaction. Wait, does she seriously not care about Daisy’s safety at all?she

wondered.

If that was really the case, Julia felt all sorts of complicated emotions.

On one hand, she couldn’t help but gloat. Serves Daisy right for sticking her nose where it didn’t belong and claiming Victoria as her own, she thought.

But on the other hand, if Victoria didn’t give a damn about Daisy’s life, then their leverage was gone, and that would be a nightmare for them.

Now that Victoria had put everything on the table, Darell didn’t bother pretending anymore. He frowned and said straight up. So, is that it? You really don’t care if your mom lives or dies?

At that, Darell paused, grabbed his phone from the table, and dialed John’s number right in front of Victoria, intending to order John to chop off another one of Daisy’s fingers and send it over as a warning.

But to his shock, as soon as he dialed, he could hear the ringtone faintly coming from outside the villa.

Before Darell could even react, Daisy’s voice suddenly rang out from outside.

Darell, it’s not that Victoria doesn’t care about my life. It’s because I’m safe now. John isn’t holding me anymore,” Daisy said.

Darell’s eyes went wide in disbelief as he watched Daisy walk in, supporting Calvin, with Hector right beside her.

Did Hector track Daisy down after knifing me last night?Darell wondered.

Wait, no, that can’t be it!he thought.

Darell suddenly realized that Daisy’s fingers were all intact.

So that finger wasn’t even Daisy’s!he realized.

Victoria saw the shock on Darell’s face, so she pulled a wooden box from her coat pocket and slid it right over to him. Uncle Darell, take a guess, whose finger do you think this is?

Darell hung up, grabbed the box, and flipped it open. His breath stopped cold.

The finger inside was big and rough, definitely not the kind of finger of a privileged woman.

That’s when it hit himhe’d been played.

This finger belongs to John!Darell realized.

Hector turned to the east wing butler and ordered, Bring him in.

The buder dragged John in, still tied up, and tossed him right onto the floor.

John looked up. panic all over his face as he stared at everyone in the room, shaking like a leaf.

Seeing this, Darell’s heart sank. A cold chill shot up his spine. He knew he’d been caught redhanded. His plan to have John kidnap Daisy was totally busted. He just stood there, frozen, like he’d been hit with a bucket of ice water, completely clueless about what to do next.

Hector’s voice was cold and biting as he demanded, Darell, standing here in front of Dad, do you have any more excuses left

His angry shout plunged the whole room into a deathly silence.

Calvin’s face, already marked by age, was now shrouded in disappointment. Every wrinkle seemed to speak of his heartbreak and fury toward his son.

He demanded sharply, Darell, did you really have someone kidnap Daisy?

Darell knew there was no point in denying it. He was caught, and nothing he said could change that. So he stayed silent.

But as his face drained of color, it exposed all the terror and confusion churning inside him.

Calvin was shaking with rage, his voice thundering through the room as he shouted, Speak! I want to hear it from your own mouth. Did you really have someone kidnap Daisy?

Darell still didn’t say a word, but his body trembled in fear, exposed and helpless.

Calvin’s face was dark with rage. He pushed Daisy’s hand away and, leaning on his cane, staggered forward with unwavering resolve toward Darell,

When he got close, he lifted his cane and slammed it down on Darell’s shoulder with all his strength, cursing, You animal! How could you do something so heartless and cruel?

Calvin kept striking him again and again with the cane, and Darell’s abdominal wound tightened painfully, blood seeping out and soaking his patient’s gown.

Dad, stop! DadJulia frantically rushed forward, grabbing Calvin’s arm to keep him from beating up Darell anymore.

Calvin spun around, his voice booming, Shut up! You need a beating too!

With that, he swung his cane right at Julia.

The cane smacked Julia’s waist, making her yelp in pain. She quickly let go and stumbled back, trying to dodge him.

Dad, stop! It hurtsJulia cried out.

Simon jumped in to shield her, and Calvin’s cane struck him instead.

Think you can shield her? I’ll show you!Calvin yelled, swinging his cane hard at Simon’s arm.

Just then, an elderly voice called out from the doorway.

Calvin, your son Darell had the nerve to kidnap my daughter and even tried to cut off her finger. You really think smacking them with a cane is enough to settle this? The Binder family isn’t going to let it slide!

As soon as the words finished, an elderly couple and five middleaged men strode into the room.

Victoria glanced at the seven newcomers. The elderly couple, despite their silver hair, were still full of vigor. They looked much healthier than Calvin.

The five middleaged men following behind them were all tall and broadshouldered, exuding an extraordinary aura. Standing together, they felt like a mountain looming over everyone in the room.

Daisy said, Victoria, these are your grandparents and your five uncles. This time, I’m not letting Darell and Julia get away. with it, so I brought your grandparents and uncles here.

Victoria nodded. Mmhmm.

When Darell and Julia saw the seven people walk in, their faces went pale with shock. Crap, Daisy’s whole family is here! they thought.

The Clark family didn’t look any better. They’d come here today expecting to watch Victoria get humiliated and punished, but instead, the tables had turned on them.

Calvin’s face was downright stormy as he set his cane aside, his voice grave. Don’t worry. I won’t turn a blind eye to what Darell’s done this time.”

He swept his gaze over Darell and his family. I’ve said it before. Petty squabbles are one thing, but you never turn on your own! Darell, you’ve gone way too far this time!

Seeing Darell’s wound start bleeding again, Julia pleaded anxiously, Darell only had Daisy kidnapped because Victoria pushed him into it! Do you even know what she did? She actually poisoned your eldest grandson! This isn’t some petty squabble. It’s poisoning! She was clearly after Simon’s life! Were we just supposed to stand by and watch Simon die from poison?

Calvin paused, uncertainty flickering across his face as he looked at Victoria. Victoria, is Julia telling the truth?

Victoria shook her head firmly, denying it without hesitation. Grandpa, I never poisoned Simon. Aunt Julia is framing me.
