As soon as Leon finished speaking, the living room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Julia was rooted to the spot, completely stunned by the sudden turn of events.

It wasn’t until Victoria’s voice rang out that Julia finally snapped back to reality. ‘Wait, this man actually knows Victoria?

“Master Leon, long time no see,” Victoria greeted him, her voice warm and familiar.

“Never thought we’d meet like this,” Leon said with a sigh. Just a couple of days ago, an old friend called him up, saying a woman named Julia suspected her father–in–law had been cursed, which was why he was acting so out of it.

Leon figured it was just another routine job, so he agreed to help out for his friend’s sake.

But when he finally met Julia, he was stunned to learn that the person she wanted to frame was actually his own student, Victoria.

Leon kept it to himself, then he reached out to Victoria to get the full story.

Once he understood everything, he decided to play along and showed up at the Binder family’s place, ready to help Victoria deal with her birth parents and their whole scheming family.

Victoria gave a sweet smile and said softly, “Yeah, thanks for coming all the way out here for me, Master Leon.”

Leon waved it off with a smile. “No need to be formal, Victoria. It’s been ages, I came as soon as I heard you needed help.”

Victoria’s heart felt warm. “Once this is all settled, I’ll definitely sit down and catch up with you, Master Leon. But for now, could you help fill in my grandpa and everyone else here on what’s really going on?”

Leon gave a little snort, his face darkening with clear annoyance. “Ugh, just thinking about this makes me mad! Julia, had someone contact me, asking me to check on her father–in–law, Calvin, to see if he’d been cursed.

“It’s only right to help when someone asks, so I didn’t think much of it. But who would’ve guessed, she specifically told me that even if it turned out Mr. Binder wasn’t cursed, I still had to…”

Realizing her scheme was about to be exposed, Julia yelled, “Someone, grab this old man, tie him up!”

But Victoria didn’t give the bodyguards a chance. She sent a silver needle flying, and the ones who tried to rush her instantly collapsed, twitching and foaming at the mouth.

Julia’s eyes widened in alarm. ‘Damn, not this trick again!‘

“All of you, go!” she shouted.

Julia just couldn’t believe Victoria could possibly take on forty bodyguards all by herself!

But just as Julia finished shouting, a horde of venomous bugs and snakes suddenly burst in from outside, swarming straight toward the forty bodyguards.

“What the hell! Where did all these creepy crawlies come from?!” one of the bodyguards yelled.

The bodyguards scrambled to shake the bugs off, but it was like the more they struggled, the more bugs there were crawling. all over them.

Julia watched, her heart nearly leaping out of her chest. She was too shocked to even scream.

Jackson raised an eyebrow. “Vickic, haven’t I seen these bugs and snakes before? They look awfully familiar.”

Victoria smiled. “Yeah, they’re the same ones Cassian let loose at our engagement party. I figured I’d make good use of them

now.”

She paused, genuinely surprised. “Wow, Jack, you actually remembered they were the same batch? Your observation and memory are seriously next level.”

“Eh, comes with the territory,” Jackson replied with a grin, playing it cool.

Leon watched the bodyguards writhing in agony, a look of approval in his eyes. “Victoria, your control over these bugs and snakes is more steady than ever.”

“That’s because I’ve always put my heart into practicing and improving the methods you taught me, Master Leon, Victoria replied.

Leon felt a deep sense of pride as his student really had outdone the master.

Before long, the forty bodyguards just couldn’t take it anymore. They all ran towards the door, desperate to escape the living

room.

Realizing her plan had completely fallen apart, Julia was hit by a wave of panic she’d never felt before. She collapsed onto the sofa behind her, speechless, her mind spinning with a million thoughts.

‘We’re doomed!‘ Julia thought, her heart sinking. ‘Just like Victoria said, our whole family is finished this time!‘

Victoria whistled with her fingers; the bugs and snakes that had been swarming the bodyguards scattered. Some flew, some slithered, then returned to the living room, surrounding Darell, Julia, Simon, and Angelica.

After that, she went over to untie her gorgeous new mom and her handsome new dad.

Once they were free, the couple hurried over to untie Julian and Thea, as well as the five brothers.

Calvin’s voice was icy. “Darell, you and your wife really outdid yourselves! Staging a power grab right in front of me!”

Darell slumped back on the sofa, letting Calvin’s words wash over him. He just muttered under his breath, “We never should’ve brought that troublemaker Victoria back…”

They’d been defeated. Victoria was about to destroy their family, leave them with absolutely nothing.

Seeing Darell and Julia completely out of it, Calvin frowned, disappointment written all over his face.

He thought they were definitely a couple of losers who couldn’t even bother to check who they were hiring, ended up bringing in someone Victoria actually knew.

Then, Victoria turned to Calvin. “Grandpa, what’s your plan for them now?”

Calvin sounded like he’d given up completely. “Victoria, I already said it. From today on, you’re running the Binder family. I’m exhausted. Everything from here on out is yours to handle. I’ll get a lawyer to make it official and transfer the whole family business to you.”

Then, he looked over at his eldest son, Hector, and his wife, Daisy. “I assume you two are okay with this?”

Hector didn’t even hesitate before shaking his head. “We are totally fine with it, Dad”

Victoria asked again, “Grandpa, when you say the Binder family’s assets, does that include Silverwood Villa too? So does that mean I can kick Darell’s family out?”

Hearing that, Julia shot up like she’d been set off, her voice full of resentment. “You little brat, how can you be so vicious? You’re even trying to take away the villa we live in? Are you going to leave us with nowhere to go?*

Victoria just laughed, completely unfazed by Julia’s accusations. “Obviously. Now that the entire Binder estate belongs to me, why would I let you stick around and keep bothering me? Why should I have to put up with you guys hanging around and ruining my mood?”

Julia’s face turned ashen with rage, her chest heaving. She was so furious she couldn’t even get a word out, just choking on her own anger.

Ignoring Darell’s resentful glare, Calvin sighed in defeat. “Yeah, everything in the Binder family is yours now. I’ll just keep enough to bury myself.”
