Calvin shot her a look. “When you married into the Clark family, didn’t I give you 6.5 million dollars and set up an influencer company?
“But you couldn’t be bothered to actually run the company. All you cared about was living it up, and the company crashed. Who do you think is to blame for that?”
Sirena was totally pissed. She blurted out, “Dad, have you lost your mind? It’s bad enough Darell gets nothing for screwing up, but I’m your daughter! Is that little money all I get?”
Calvin shot back, “What else do you want? I did everything I could to raise you and gave you a life of luxury for years. But you’ve never done a thing for the Binder family.
“You’ve only ever cared about yourself and having fun. How much more do you think you deserve?”
Sirena was truly furious now. “Fine, Dad, you’re heartless! If you can treat your own daughter like this, then don’t blame me for being just as cold. When you die, I won’t even show up at your funeral!”
Calvin was taken aback by her threat. Then, he said, “If I could really count on you, would I even have to wait until I’m
dead?”
Sirena gritted her teeth. “Alright, Dad, you said it yourself. Since you’re so cold, from now on, we’re done! I won’t ever step foot in the Binder family again! Just wait, when you hand everything over to Victoria, you’ll see how much you regret it!”
‘If I’m not even getting a piece of the Binder family’s fortune, what’s the point of even calling him Dad?‘ Sirena thought bitterly.
Calvin absolutely hated being threatened by his own family. With a stone–cold face, he said, “Do whatever you want. If you want to break off, that’s fine by me. I don’t need a daughter like you!”
Just then, Victoria spoke up with total confidence. “Grandpa, don’t worry. You won’t regret handing the Binder family over to me. I’ll make us even stronger, and I’ll knock the Clark family right off their pedestal.”
Miranda was furious hearing Victoria boast about crushing her family right in front of her. “Who do you think you are, talking big like that? You really don’t know your place.”
“When I said I’d make Darell and his whole family lose everything, everyone thought I was just dreaming. But now you see, I made it happen,” Victoria said with a smile.
“Mrs. Clark, you heard me. I’m running the Binder family now. So if you expect me, as head of the family, to apologize to your useless son, forget it,” she added.
Miranda let out a cold snort. “Let’s see how the Binder family falls apart! I’ll be watching when you all go down in flames!”
Seeing Miranda about to leave, Bater was still unwilling to let it go. “Mom, are we really just going to walk away like this?”
Miranda shot him a look and snapped, “What else? You gonna hit her right now?”
Bater glanced around the room. Everyone here, from the Thornton family to the Fishers, was on Victoria’s side. Plus, she had her whole swarm of dangerous cronies ready to do her bidding. He could only grit his teeth and hold back.
Seeing her son keep his mouth shut, Miranda finally turned to her grandson. “Let’s go.”
Nathan nodded, giving Jackson and Victoria a quick glance.

Chapter 183
He’d watched the whole drama unfold, and now he was certain; Victoria, the true Binder heiress, was definitely not someone
to mess with.
No wonder Jackson was so taken with her.
With his goal accomplished, Nathan got up, offered Miranda his arm, and together they left Silverwood Villa.
Bater and Sirena, along with her husband, followed behind, their faces full of frustration and unwillingness to accept the
outcome.
After the Clark family left, Victoria said breezily, “The whole thing with my mom’s kidnapping is taken care of. Now, onto the next thing.”
Her words sent a chill down Darell and his family’s spines.
‘Next thing?‘ Darell’s heart skipped a beat. ‘What else does she want to do to us?‘
Angelica, especially, was sure Victoria would use this chance to give her a hard time.
Sure enough, Angelica saw Victoria turn to look at her, but what Victoria said next totally caught her off guard.
“Angelica, I’m going to help you get rid of the poison for good,” she said.
Angelica was stunned. She never expected Victoria would still want to help her out with the poison at a time like this.
What is that little witch plotting now?‘ Angelica wondered, suspicion gnawing at her.
While Angelica was still hesitating, Simon said, “I don’t know why she’s doing this, but since Victoria’s willing to help you get rid of the poison, just go ahead. Don’t worry about us, just focus on getting better.”
“Alright,” Angelica breathed a sigh of relief, sat down on the couch, lifted her skirt, and said, “Go ahead, help me out.”
Victoria stepped forward, pulled a needle case from her pocket, and started treating Angelica with acupuncture. After that, she took out a ceramic jar filled with leeches and placed them on the bite mark on Angelica’s ankle to draw out the poisoned blood.
Before long, Angelica could feel the swelling and burning on her face start to fade.
She touched her face. It was still puffy, but the pain was gone. She figured her looks would be back to normal soon.
Angelica was honestly stunned that Victoria really hadn’t tried anything sneaky. ‘What is she plotting? Is she really just helping me, or is there something else going on?‘
After removing the leeches, Victoria said, “Alright, the poison’s completely gone now.”
Annie was just as confused. “Victoria, why are you helping Angelica get rid of the poison?”
Victoria shot Simon a pointed look. “Because I want him to regret it.”
Simon caught Victoria’s mocking gaze and froze for a moment. Then it dawned on him; Victoria meant that once Curtis woke up, he’d regret letting Angelica get the antidote.
Now that Victoria had helped Angelica get rid of the poison, he wondered if that meant waking Curtis up was next on her
list.
With that thought in mind, Simon asked cautiously, “Victoria, are you really planning to wake Curtis up too?”

Victoria nodded. “Of course. He’s my key witness”
Then Victoria walked over to the couch, standing above Curtis and watching him as he lay there.
Julia, Darell, and Simon were so focused on Victoria that none of them noticed how nervous Angelica looked, her anxiety.
written all over her face.
‘Relax, he is never waking up, Angelica tried to reassure herself, forcing her nerves to settle.
She’d pumped him full of that coma–inducing drug over and over. It was black market stuff, no way it could possibly fail.
Victoria glanced at Angelica, who was visibly tense, a sly smile playing at her lips. Then she reached out and pulled out the silver needle she’d embedded in Curtis’s head earlier.
Julia rushed over, crouched beside the couch, her expression tense but with a flicker of hope in her eyes as she stared down at her second son.
Meanwhile, Darell clutched his stomach, staring intently at Curtis, unable to tear his eyes away.
The living room was plunged into a tense silence. Everyone was on edge, waiting for that moment when something miraculous might happen.
Ten seconds, twenty seconds, thirty seconds. A full minute passed, but Curtis still showed no sign of waking up.
Julia gritted her teeth. “Curtis isn’t waking up! Why should we believe you can actually wake him up? You little brat, you’d rather he never woke up at all!”
Angelica breathed a sigh of relief, but before she could even finish, Curtis, lying on the couch, let out a cough.
