After Milton left, Daisy looked at Victoria. Her expression turned serious. “You’re the Binder family’s real daughter.

She paused, her lips curving slightly. “You spent all that money and effort raising your enemy’s child, and now you’re proud of it. That’s really something.”

The moment she brought up the baby–switching again, Curtis’s face darkened. “No matter how you spin it, Angelica is still better than you,” he said coldly. “The only thing you can criticize her for is her mother.”

Victoria shook her head lightly, almost amused. “No, no. I don’t think her mother is bad at all. In fact, she’s a great mother.”

Her eyes shone with something that looked like genuine admiration. “At least she was willing to break the law just to give her daughter a better life. That’s a lot more than someone who can’t even stand her own child.”

The room went quiet. Curtis and Julia were both left speechless.

Angelica stepped in, her voice calm and composed. “Victoria, if you really want to learn, I’d be happy to teach you.”
