Chapter 293
“So, you didn’t invite these people, did you Victoria asked knowingly, shooting a look at Stephen.
Stephen said. “Of course not! I heard the doorbell and thought it was you, Ms. Binder, so I just opened up Next thing I knew, these people just stormed right in!”
“Oh – “Victoria shifted her gaze to Nathan Nathan, you and your crew just barged into someone else’s place uninvited, that’s straight–up trespassing If you don’t want us to call the cops, you’d better get out. Now”

Nathan echoed, his face instantly darkening at Victoria’s words.
seeing this. Daniel immediately jumped in to back Nathan up. “How dare you talk to Mr. Clark like that!”
ictoria didn’t even spare Daniel a glance. She just gave him a cool look and beckoned him over with a mocking finger “Oh. ‘ou didn’t hear me? Come here, and I’ll show you exactly how I talk to Nathan.”
Victoria, right? I’ve heard about you. You’re only acting tough because you’re engaged to Jackson, but even he has to show Mr. Clark some respect. Who do you think you are, telling Mr. Clark to get out?”
Daniel glanced at Jackson sitting in his wheelchair, barking with his neck rigid in bravado, but he still didn’t dare step orward.
f Jackson hadn’t been here, Daniel wouldn’t have been scared of Victoria at all–he would’ve gone right up and slapped her cross the face, twice.
but now that Jackson was stuck in a wheelchair, who knew if he’d ever inherit the Thornton family fortune? Playing it safe by iding with Nathan was definitely the smarter move.
Daniel’s hesitation earlier had already annoyed Nathan, so he had to redeem himself and get back in Nathan’s good graces.
ast.
Oh? Is that so?” Victoria glanced down at Jack, her expression almost hungry for answers. “Jack, are you saying you wouldn’t lare talk to Nathan like I just did?”
ackson smiled faintly. “Not at all. Nathan never even gives me a chance to talk to him. Whenever I show up, he always voids me. After all, everyone knows that as long as I’m around, he’s always second best.”
Daniel was left speechless.
Nathan’s face turned stormy, the air around him thick with tension. Finally, he spoke, his voice tight with barely contained
inger.
Jackson, that’s all ancient history. I admit, you used to have some skills, and I was always stuck in your shadow, letting you steal the spotlight every time. But look at you now–just to fix your legs, you casually arranged a marriage with some woman and do whatever she says. You’re the laughingstock of the rich and powerful!”
Jackson just smiled, not a hint of annoyance on his face–only confidence and ease. “Are you jealous that I found such an amazing wife, and I can listen to her without holding back?”
Nathan’s face twisted with contempt, his eyes full of scorn. “Any man who takes orders from a woman is pathetic! If you’re not embarrassed, that’s on you. But honestly, you’re already half a cripple. If bowing and scraping to a woman means you might get your legs fixed, then I guess that’s nothing for you, right?”

But Jackson didn’t care at all about Nathan’s words. He just kept his tone light Nathan, have you been stuck under my hee! for so long that you’re traumatized I don’t feel the least bit wronged On the contrary, meeting Vickie and getting engaged to her- I’ve never been this happy in my life
Nathan was left speechless
He just couldn’t stand how Jackson always had that annoyingly calm and unbothered attitude, like nothing in the world could shake hum
Alright. Jack, don’t waste your breath on him. He’s just some guy nobody’s ever loved–what could he possibly understand? Victoria said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Then Victoria didn’t hold back as she started kicking them out. “I said you’re not welcome here, so get lost.
Damel clearly wasn’t planning to leave without a fight. He planted his hands on his hips, acting all tough, like he had nothing o lose, and yelled, “We’re not leaving! What are you gonna do about it?”
But before he could even finish, a sharp pain shot through his neck, like he’d been jabbed with something sharp.
de didn’t even have time to react–his whole body started convulsing like he’d been hit with a taser, then he crumpled to the loor. foaming at the mouth, looking absolutely pathetic.
Jathan instantly recognized Daniel’s symptoms–they were exactly the same as what he’d seen at the Binder house before.
Victoria really is as dangerous as ever,‘ Nathan thought.
Victoria casually twirled the silver needle between her fingers. “Nathan, if you don’t get out of here, you might end up witching just like your little lapdog over there.”
Her voice was calm, but there was a clear threat in her tone. “I wouldn’t mind filming you and uploading it online–make ou famous for all the wrong reasons.”
lathan’s expression soured at Victoria’s words. He shot a look at Daniel twitching on the floor, then at Victoria, and after a noment’s hesitation, finally turned and left with his bodyguards.
Yo, Nathan! Not gonna take your little lapdog with you?” Victoria called out, her voice full of mockery as she watched him valk away.
Nathan didn’t even bother to reply. He marched down the stairs, not once looking back as he left.
Hephen watched Daniel convulsing on the floor, surprised. “What happened to him?”
Victoria strode over and kicked Daniel hard in the groin.
The pain was so bad, Daniel’s eyes rolled back and he blacked out right there.
It’s nothing, he’ll survive, Victoria said as she stepped back. “But this guy always uses his director status to force actresses nto bed. If they refuse, he threatens to ruin their careers. Since he can’t control himself, I figured I’d just make sure his ower half is useless for good.”
As she spoke, she flicked the silver needle straight at his crotch. It shot through his pants and stabbed right into the flesh
underneath.
Stephen realized what Victoria had done to Daniel, but instead of being scared, he was righteously angry. “Serves him right‘ That scumbag totally had it coming!”
“Alright, Stephen, where’s your uncle? Take me to him so I can treat him,” Victoria said.

Stephen quickly pointed to the room on the right Hes lying in there. Ms Binder Please follow me
He spoke Last almost impatient and hurried off toward the room
Jackson couldn’t take his eyes off Stephen, watching him hurry off, feeling a rush of excitement he couldn’t quite put into
words
When Nathan was around. Jackson had managed to keep his cool, but now, all those feelings he’d been holding back just spuded over
Vickie I just have this feeling–he really might be my real little brother,” Jackson said, his voice trembling a bit, his eyes lit up with anticipation.
Victoria reassured him. “Jack, hang in there. We’ll find out soon.”
She patted his shoulder gently, then pushed his wheelchair, following Stephen into the room.
Jackson clenched his hands on his thighs. ‘Yeah, just a little longer… Soon I’ll finally know if Stephen is really my brother, he thought.
