Inside, she could hear the men openly talking about her, not holding back at all.

“I have a feeling Victoria isn’t here to mess with Timothy, She’s probably here to beg him to let Brightstar Entertainment off the hook,” one of them said.

“Hey, even if that bitch Victoria is here to beg, she’s not begging me. She’s begging our Mr. Clark, alright?” another guy chimed in.

Victoria stood at the door of the VIP room, looked back at the hallway she’d just walked down from the

elevator.

Only one waiter had brought her up, but now, out of nowhere, the corridor was lined with a bunch of burly bodyguards in black.

After the waiter led her to the door, he shot her a look and then turned to leave.

In that glance, Victoria saw a deep sense of sympathy in his eyes.

‘Seriously? Sympathy for me? As if I need that, Victoria thought.

Victoria gave a contemptuous chuckle and strode into the VIP room. The bodyguards from the hallway rushed over, forming a wall at the entrance.

She shot a quick look back, her expression cool and unbothered. There wasn’t a hint of fear on her face.

Just then, a guy whistled and shouted, “Whoo. Here she comes. Victoria, that little bitch, just walked in.”

It was Zachary, with Angelica snuggled up in his arms.

“Hey, baby, Victoria’s here. Didn’t you always want payback? Tonight, I’ll let you enjoy yourself. Let’s watch Victoria crash and burn,” Zachary said.

Angelica purred, “Zachary, you’re the best.”

Then, she looked up at Victoria standing at the door, her eyes full of hatred and barely hiding her spiteful delight.

‘Finally, I get to see that little bitch Victoria again, Angelica gloated inwardly. ‘If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have ended up like this.

Nathan sat right in the middle of the sofa, arms stretched out, silently staring at Victoria. ‘She really walked in solo? Is she really not taking me seriously?’ he thought.

Lexi’s eye twitched nervously as she watched Victoria from her spot next to Nathan.

Good thing she was a pro. She kept her cool and didn’t let it show. But inside, she couldn’t help worrying about Victoria’s safety.

Timothy turned his head, a crooked smirk on his lips. “Victoria, I heard you were looking for me. So, what’s up? Are you here to beg me to have Gale Entertainment cut Brightstar some slack?”

Victoria let out a mocking laugh. “Dream on.”

With that, she glanced around the VIP room.

On her way up, she’d already scoped out the place. Cameras covered the hallway and the entrance, but inside the VIP room? Not a single one.

So if she decided to throw down in here, as long as nobody caught it on video, no one could pin it on her.

Even if the cops showed up, they couldn’t prove she was the one who started anything.

Plus, she had a little something on hand that could make people hallucinate. If things got out of control, she could just claim they were tripping and went wild all on their own.

Victoria’s lips curled into a half-smile as she looked at Timothy. She said with a smirk, “Me? I’m just here to see how tough your skull really is.”

Timothy frowned, clearly not getting what she meant. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Victoria’s smile grew even more pronounced. She replied offhandedly, “You’ll find out soon enough.”

With that, she cracked her knuckles, the sharp sound echoing in the room, getting ready for what was about to happen.

Zachary, standing off to the side, smirked and mocked, “Seriously, Victoria? You’re gonna throw down in here? You really think those bodyguards outside are just for show?”

Victoria didn’t even bother to look at Zachary. She kept her gaze fixed on Timothy, completely dismissing his warning as if he wasn’t even worth her attention.

“No matter how slick you are, if you cause trouble in my place, you won’t make it out of Midnight Blue unscathed.”

Victoria didn’t even blink at Nathan’s threat. Her grin got even wider, pure provocation. “Is that so? Go ahead, try me.”

As soon as she finished speaking, it was like some invisible force swept through the VIP room, plunging

All the VIPs would start doubting the club’s security, and that would deal a heavy blow to Midnight Blue’s reputation.

In the darkness, one of the henchmen tried to pull out his phone to use the flashlight, but as soon as he did, a sudden sting hit the back of his hand. His fingers went numb, and the phone just dropped from his hand.

The bodyguards at the door started moaning in agony and then collapsed one by one.

“What’s going on?” someone shouted in the dark.

“Yeah, Mr. Clark, what the hell’s happening?” another voice called out/

Nathan barked out an order to his assistant, “Finn.”

“Got it, I’ll call the manager right now,” Finn replied, reaching for his phone. But just like the others, the moment his screen lit up, a sharp sting shot through the back of his hand, leaving it numb and weak.

“His phone slipped from his grasp and smacked against the floor with a sharp slap.

Hearing the commotion, Nathan demanded, “What’s going on?”
