Victoria took the red box from Stephan, opened it, and smiled at the red amulet inside. “Thank you, everyone.” With Stephan and the others taking the lead, the rest of the guests came forward one after another, handing their gifts to Victoria.
Oliver’s gift was a limited–edition fountain pen. The Fisher family had gone all out with their welcome gifts last time. They were either yachts, private jets, or rare collectibles. This time, by comparison, they seemed much more modest.
Benny said, “I specially painted this painting for you. As he spoke, he unfurled the scroll in his hands. The woman in the painting captured about 80% of Victoria’s likeness and aura. It depicted Victoria playing the piano at the previous welcome party
Victoria exclaimed, “It’s so beautiful! Thank you, Uncle Benny.”
Annie’s voice rang out from across the room. “Wow! Uncle Benny, draw one for me, too, pretty please!” That had everyone in the room cracking up.
“Shoo, shoo! Who are you calling your uncle?” Benny waved his hand dismissively. Annie stuck out her tongue.
After pushing Benny aside, Jonah stepped forward and said, “Victoria, I crafted three cozy homes for your snakes.”
Hearing that, the three snakes, who had been hiding in the secret pocket of her gown, poked their heads out, curiously checking out the nests Jonah had made for them.
“See? Blackie, Whitey, and Greenie seem to love them,” Donah said.
Next up was Douglas, who said, “I had a custom medical kit made for you. You can carry it around wherever you go.”
Tanner added, “I made three needle pouches for you; each one has your snakes stitched on it.”
Victoria accepted each gift with a smile. “I love them all!” she said.
Finally, it was Fandy’s turn. He pulled out a photo album and said, “Victoria, I gathered some childhood photos and videos of your mom and made them into an album. I figured you’d want to see what she looked like when she was a kid.”
Victoria’s eyes lit up. “Of course! Thank you, Uncle Fandy!” The other four uncles were left speechless. Once again, Fandy delivered the knockout gift, they all thought.
Hector chuckled. “Victoria, show me later. I haven’t really seen your mom’s childhood photos.”
Daisy nudged his arm. “I want to see your childhood photos too!”
Hector took her hand, saying fondly, “Alright, I’ll dig them up for you later.”
Seeing Fisher family members had finished giving their gifts to Victoria, Annie turned to Jackson and said, “Jackson, let’s give our gifts.”
Jackson nodded. “Sure.”
Just then. Gerry pulled out a golden rosewood box and handed it to Jackson. “Take my gift to Victoria along with yours.” Jackson took the box and nodded. “Yes, Grandpa.”
Annie jumped up first, went over to Jackson’s wheelchair, and eagerly offered, “Jackson, let me help you!”
Seeing Jackson and Annie heading toward Victoria, Stephen paused for a second, glanced at Gerry, then got up and tagged

Before Victoria, Jackson handed her a golden rosewood box with a document envelope on top, grinning. “Vickie, these are from Grandpa and me.”
As soon as Victoria took the gifts, Annie asked curiously, “Jackson, what did you and Grandpa get for Vickie?” She was asking Jackson, but her eyes were locked on Victoria.
Victoria smiled and said, “I’m curious too.”
The Fisher family members who had just handed over their gifts craned their necks to look. They asked curiously, “Victoria, open and let us see. Jackson’s gonna be your hubby, and it’s his first time celebrating your birthday. He’d better not cheap out?”
Jackson said humbly, “Nah, I wouldn’t dare.”
Victoria chuckled, “So, which one is your gift?”
Jackson replied. “The one in the envelope.”
“Then I’ll check out Grandpa Gerry’s first,” Victoria said, opening the golden rosewood box and finding some seeds inside.
Annie asked, puzzled, “What are these?”
Victoria recognized them at a glance. “These are rare herb seeds from overseas. They’re not found here because they’re tough to cultivate.”
She then turned to Gerry. “Thank you for the gift.”
“I’m glad you like it,” Gerry said with emotion. “I know you’ve cultivated a lot of rare herbs. Only when you gave me one at the welcome party did I realize all those rare herbs at Benwig City’s largest auction house were from you. You’re truly a young woman with great talent and promise.”
Hearing this, Darell and Sirena were shocked. The largest auction house in Benwig City had rare herbs that the wealthy elites snatched up frantically every year. Besides the auction house owner, no one knew who the supplier was. Unexpectedly, that person was actually right in front of them.
Unexpectedly, that person was actually right in front of them. ‘No wonder… No wonder the auction house owner showed up at Victoria and Jackson’s engagement party last time!‘ they thought.
“What?! Victoria’s the one behind all those rare herbs at Benwig City’s largest auction house?” Inside the private room at Midnight Blue, everyone, including Nathan, was shocked to hear Gerry’s words.
“Those rare herbs sell for at least 1.5 million dollars each at Benwig City’s auctions. So she’s absolutely loaded!” Zachary blurted out, his jaw dropping. The shock hit him hard, but regret hit even harder.
‘If I’d known Victoria was such a powerhouse, I never would’ve provoked her in the group chat, Zachary thought, kicking himself inside.
Nathan felt deeply uncomfortable deep down. He had once shelled out 15 million dollars at an auction for a rare herb to save his father’s life. If it hadn’t been for that herb, his dad probably wouldn’t have survived.
‘No wonder! No wonder you were so bold the moment you returned to Benwig City. You actually have this hidden trump card the whole time, Nathan thought.
Victoria, just how many hidden cards are you holding?‘ Nathan wondered, his heart tangled with bitterness and awe.

With this trump card revealed, Nathan had to reconsider whether he should really wipe Victoria out. After all, those herbs were worth a fortune. If only the Clark family could have them all, that would be the ultimate win,‘ he thought.

After opening Gerry’s gift, next was Jackson’s. Victoria handed Gerry’s gift to Daisy, then opened the envelope. Annie was already leaning in for a peek.
Victoria pulled out the document from the envelope; it was a post–nuptial agreement. “Wow, it really is!” Annie exclaimed.
Victoria glanced over it briefly. The agreement basically meant that after marriage, if Jackson cheated on her or took the initiative to file for divorce, all of his assets would belong to Victoria, and he would leave with nothing.
Of course, it also included supplementary clauses to prevent loopholes. In other words, as long as Jackson dared to cheat, he would definitely end up completely penniless.
“Jack, there’s no need for this. You know I’m not short of money; everything the Binder family owns is already mine,” Victoria said, looking up at Jackson and locking eyes with his focused, affectionate gaze.
Jack looked at her seriously. “Whether you need money or not is not my concern, but the promise I made is mine. After all, verbal promises have no binding force; only real money can live up to the promise I make to you.”

After a brief pause, he smiled and said, “Actually, in a sense, this agreement is just an empty check for you, because I believe I won’t ever betray you. You probably won’t even have a chance in your lifetime to make me leave with nothing.”
