Chapter 366
“Dad. I was the one who released it.” Darell’s voice was thick with pain and rage as he gripped his phone, the screen playing a video so disturbing it was almost unbearable to watch.
Dad, someone sent this to me. Please, you have to see it!” His voice shook. “When I saw this video, it broke me. The woman I love, my wife, was tortured in ways no human should ever endure!”
Darell’s anger boiled over as he shouted, “I won’t let Victoria get away with this in front of everyone! How could she be so heartless? She actually hired people to kidnap her own mother, Julia, and then had her brutally abused!”
“Dad, can you really hand over all the Binder family assets to someone who’d do this to her own mother? Aren’t you worried she might turn on you the same way someday…” he fumed.
Before Darell could finish, Calvin slapped him hard across the face.
After cutting Darell off. Calvin pulled his hand back, took a deep breath to steady himself, and said in a low, heavy voice, “So that’s why you and Sirena begged me to let you come to Victoria’s birthday party today. You weren’t really here to make peace. This was your real plan all along! I thought you’d finally turned over a new leaf, so I gave you one last chance and trusted you. But you still haven’t learned your lesson!”
Darell clutched his swollen cheek, a bitter smile on his lips. “Dad, if you really wanted to give us a chance, you would’ve let us come back to the Binder family. But it’s obvious you never planned to give us a real shot.”
Sirena jumped in, “Dad, Darell’s right. If you really wanted to give them a chance, you could’ve at least left them a little of the family fortune. How can you just hand everything over to Victoria? You’re basically pushing Darell and his family into a
corner.”
This time, Sirena was playing it smart. Before she knew if Darell’s plan would work, she was already shifting all the blame onto Darell and his family.
“Calvin, looks like one slap wasn’t enough,” Jackson said coolly. “He messed up Vickie’s big birthday party.”
Calvin raised his hand to slap Darell again, but Darell blocked him. “Dad, even after all this, you’re still siding with that monster of a daughter?”
Calvin snapped, “Get out! All of you, get the hell out of my house!”
Darell let go, pressing his tongue against the bleeding cut in his mouth. “Fine, we’ll leave. Dad, you’d better watch yourself from now on.”
After Julia made such a scene, Simon knew everything was ruined.
He thought, ‘Does Victoria even have it in her to forgive us?*
“Yeah, right. In dreams.
‘Not a chance. Not in this lifetime, he sighed inwardly.
Simon patted Curtis on the shoulder. “Let’s go. Let’s not make things harder for Vickie.”
“And you, Sirena!” Calvin turned to her.
Sirena hurried to say, “Dad, I’m not leaving. I can’t go back to the Clark family, and you promised you’d let me stay with the Binder family.”

“Sirena, just tell me, did you know about Darell’s plan?” Calvin fixed his gaze on her.
Sirena blurted out, “I swear, I didn’t know anything about it.”

Calvin wasn’t sure if Sirena was telling the truth, but if she was, kicking her out now could seriously backfire. If she turned around and leaked what she knew to the Clark family, that would cause big trouble for all of them.
So Calvin said, “Hector, your third sister has nowhere else to go. Let her stay with the Binder family for now”
Hector glanced at Victoria, and when he saw she didn’t object, he said, “Since Dad said so, she can stay. But if she ever tries anything against Victoria, just like Darell did, I swear I’ll make her pay”
Calvin gave Sirena a cold, hard look. “Did you hear that?”
Sirena quickly replied, “Yes, Dad.”
Calvin let out a heavy sigh, regret written all over his face. “Victoria, this is all my fault. I wanted to give them one last chance, but who would’ve thought it would ruin your birthday party like this?”
Victoria just smiled calmly, totally unbothered. “It’s alright, Grandpa. I actually wanted them to make a scene.”
Calvin looked stunned. “What do you mean?”
Victoria just gave a mysterious little smile. “You’ll know soon enough, Grandpa.”
Sirena felt a wave of doubt wash over her after hearing what Victoria said.
What was Victoria getting at?‘ she wondered.
“Why would she want Darell and his crew to stir things up on purpose?‘ Sirena puzzled, still trying to make sense of it.
Just then, she caught Victoria looking her way, and her stomach dropped. She hurried to explain, “Victoria, I’m not working with Uncle Darell. I honestly just want to come back to the Binder family and find somewhere I belong.”
Victoria smirked, her voice light. “Looks like life in the Clark family hasn’t been easy for you since Bater got thrown in jail. So, now that you’ve got nowhere else to go, are you honestly not holding any grudges against me?”
Sirena definitely had some resentment, but she forced a smile, trying to play nice. “Oh, Victoria, Bater totally deserved it! He was always causing trouble in the Clark family. I ended up like this because I married the wrong guy, so it’s not your fault.”
Victoria shot her a teasing look. “Is that so? Then you’d better stay out of trouble. If you really want to live with the Binder family, it’s not just Grandpa’s call. If you ever piss me off, I can kick you out anytime I want.”
Sirena forced a smile, trying to sound obedient. “Don’t worry, I’ll stay out of trouble from now on.”
“Victoria! You heartless brat!
“Treating your own mother like this. You will surely be punished!” Julia shouted.
“Just you wait! I’ll find my chance to make you pay!
“All the agony you put me through, having people torture me. I’ll make you suffer a hundred times worse, mark my words!”
she yelled.
“Daisy, Hector, you two are definitely her accomplices! I won’t let you off either!” she fumed.

Julia was screaming and cursing at the Binder family’s front gate when she was being kicked out, acting like a wild shrew. Her
old classy self was long gone.
She only stopped her shouting when she saw Darell and their sons, Simon and Curtis, being kicked out as well.
“Get lost?” The butler of Goldenwood Villa had Darell and his sons tossed out, then slammed the iron gate shut behind them.
Darell turned back, shooting the butler a look so poisonous it could kill. His glare was pure hatred.
The butler snorted, “What are you staring at? If I’d known you were here just to wreck Miss Victoria’s birthday party, I never would’ve let you in! You bring nothing but trouble!”
Darel! clenched his fists, thinking. Just wait till my plan comes through. I’ll kick this butler out for good, no hesitation!”
When Simon and Curtis saw Julia, their faces told two totally different stories.
Curtis was pissed that Julia had trashed Victoria’s birthday party, but after all the drama with his latest single, he’d already given up hope of ever getting Victoria’s forgiveness. At this point, he was mostly worried about how Julia was doing.
Simon, on the other hand, still believed he had a shot at making things right with Victoria, but now, thanks to Julia, that hope was completely wrecked.
So Curtis asked, “Mom, are you okay?”
But Simon demanded, “Mom, why can’t you ever learn your lesson?”
Julia felt disappointed all over again at Simon’s attitude, but at least Curtis still showed he cared about her.
‘Well, at least raising both my sons wasn’t a total waste, Julia thought, feeling a mix of bitterness and relief.
“After all the torment I’ve suffered, you still say I’m the stubborn one? The real fool here is you, Simon!” Julia choked out, her voice trembling. “If I hadn’t gone to Mullinran Village to look for you, Victoria would never have had the opportunity to set me up, have me kidnapped, and torture me like this!”
“How can you be so sure it was Vickie who did this?” Simon demanded, his voice rising in disbelief.
“I’m absolutely certain! Who else could it be? What, you think your dad did it?” Julia shot back, her anger barely contained.
