Chapter 380
Chapter 380
Miranda shot Victoria a cold look, seeing that she was still acting like she did nothing wrong. Miranda snapped, “Still stubborn and blind,” before turning and heading back inside.
Nathan realized his grandmother was leaving the rest up to him.
Suddenly, a bunch of bodyguards sprang out from behind Annie Thornton, boxing her and Victoria in.
“Victoria, look out! They’re ambushing us!” Annie yelled.
She quickly hid behind Victoria.

Victoria subtly glanced at the bodyguards closing in, her tone cool and unbothered. “So, you guys are really gonna start something in broad daylight?”
Nathan walked out the front door, step by step, closing in on Victoria. He looked down at her, nearly a head taller, his voice chilling. “Victoria, you drugged the guests at Midnight Blue last night, didn’t you? And you were the one who had the video from last night leaked this morning, right?”
Victoria just shrugged, not intimidated at all. “Didn’t you say yourself? Throwing out accusations without evidence is just slander.”
Nathan’s frown deepened as he pressed, “Victoria, who are you really?”
Victoria smirked, “Who else could I be? Just the true heiress the Binder family reclaimed.” She shifted, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “So, who’s the Clark family gonna throw under the bus this time? Let me think… You’ve got plenty of extended family, but I wonder if any of them are willing to take the fall for you. Or maybe you’ll go for Sirena and Bater’s son…what’s his name again? I think it’s…Geoffrey?”
Nathan finally snapped after Victoria’s taunts. He couldn’t stand being looked down on anymore.
“You really think I won’t kill you?” Nathan snarled, and without warning, he lashed out, swinging his hand viciously at Victoria.
A flash of light flickered between his fingers.
It was a gleaming, razor–edged blade.
If that strike landed, Victoria’s face would be split open, right down to the bone.
In their previous run–ins, Nathan never got his hands dirty. He always had his bodyguards gang up on Victoria.
Even though they all failed, Nathan knew Victoria was a pro with needles and poison powders.
If push came to shove, she could even unleash venomous insects and snakes.
He’d prepared for all of that.

Chapter 380
His own physical strength was on par with that of the Zarovnian hitman they’d brought in. No way was he going to lose to a slender woman like Victoria in a face–to–face fight.
Just as Nathan’s blade was about to touch Victoria, a sudden sting shot through his neck.
Victoria’s voice was cold and laced with mockery. “Go ahead, and your head’s gonna drop right off your neck.
She held a silver needle in her hand, but this one looked special compared to the others.
The needle had a hole in it, with a thin thread running through. Right now, that thread was wrapped around Nathan’s neck like a snake ready to strike.
Nathan froze, barely daring to breathe, terrified the thread would snap tight if he so much as moved.
Nathan could feel the thread pressed so close against his skin that if Victoria applied even the slightest force, it would slice through his flesh like a razor, right down to the bone.
The bodyguards saw the danger and immediately snatched up their weapons, ready to charge in and rescue Nathan.
But Nathan suddenly barked, “Stop! Don’t come any closer!” His voice carried an authority that brooked no argument, and the bodyguards stopped dead in their tracks.
Nathan took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice. He glared at Victoria, teeth clenched. “Victoria, I don’t believe you have the guts to kill me!”
Victoria’s lips curled into a scornful smile. She spoke softly, “I’m not stupid enough to kill you in broad daylight, but…”
She dragged out the last word, then suddenly raised her voice. “Go ahead, try me. Let’s see just how much pain I can make you feel!”
Nathan wasn’t about to gamble with his life.
When Victoria snapped, there was no one she was afraid of.
“Smart move,” Victoria said coldly, loosening the thread and then sending a swift kick to Nathan’s knee.
Nathan collapsed to his knees, completely caught off guard.
Before he could react, Victoria slammed her knee into his chin, knocking him flat on the ground.
“Mr. Clark…” one of the bodyguards called out, his voice full of worry.
They tried to rush forward, but their bodies suddenly went numb again. One after another, they collapsed to the ground, foaming at the mouth.
Nathan lay sprawled on the ground, clawing at the floor in frustration as he watched his bodyguards.
‘How is this even possible?‘ he thought, stunned.

Chapter 380
He’d made sure his bodyguards were suited up in protective gear, with gas masks covering their faces and necks.
‘How did Victoria manage this?‘ Nathan wondered, completely baffled.
Darell was kneeling at the doorway, dumbfounded by the chaos unfolding right in front of him.
For the first time, he finally understood just how scary as hell his own daughter really was.
In all of Benwig, nobody had ever dared to mess with Nathan this way.
No, it wasn’t just about guts. Nobody had ever had the power to make Nathan look this pathetic.
Darell’s whole body collapsed. He was overwhelmed, and for the first time, he truly regretted how he’d treated Victoria.
‘Why?‘ Darell asked himself, his mind in turmoil.
‘Why didn’t I rush to bring my real daughter home the moment I learned Angelica wasn’t mine? Why didn’t I comfort her, or sincerely beg her forgiveness?‘ Darell thought.
‘If only…‘ Darell’s regret echoed in his mind.
‘If only… he kept thinking, lost in remorse.
“Annie, get back in the car,” Victoria ordered.
“Got it!” Annie scrambled back to the car and locked the door behind her.
‘I’m not about to be Victoria’s dead weight!‘ Annie thought to herself.
Victoria stepped right up to Nathan, and just as he tried to get up, she sent a kick toward his head.
All Nathan could do was desperately throw his hands up to protect his head.
“Nathan, you still dare to ask if I drugged the guests at Midnight Blue? Don’t you know what you did yourself?” Victoria pressed her foot down on his chest, leaning in close. “You thought I wouldn’t catch on to your tricks at my party? You were planning to use Angelica to slip something to my guests, weren’t you? All I did was make you reap what you sowed.”
“I’m here today to make one thing clear: I don’t fear the Clark family, and mark my words–I’m going to bring you all down, just like Darell ended up,” Victoria said coldly.
“Your Uncle Bater’s already locked up. Doesn’t matter who you push out to take the blame this time. Next round, I’ll wipe the Clark family off the map,” Victoria’s voice was icy, full of ruthless promise.
With that, she slammed her foot into Nathan’s chin again, making the arrogant bastard’s mouth gush blood.
Right then, the fire burning in Nathan’s chest wasn’t anger anymore. It was raw, bone–deep fear.
For the first time, Nathan was genuinely terrified of Victoria.

Chapter 380
Nathan struggled to lift his eyelids, his voice hoarse and full of defeat. “Victoria, I apologize… Can we settle this and make peace?”
Victoria scoffed, her tone dripping with contempt. “An apology? Who would’ve thought that the great Mr. Clark would finally show weakness?”
Nathan swallowed the blood in his mouth, his voice hoarse and pleading. “Victoria, I’m sorry. The Clark family shouldn’t have interfered in the Binder family’s business. If you spare us, we won’t ever come after you again. You can set any conditions. If we can do it, we’ll make amends for everything we’ve done to you. If we can’t, we’ll do whatever it takes to make it up to you.”
Victoria let out a cold, mocking laugh. “Too late. If the Clark family had just kept their dirty business overseas, maybe I could’ve looked the other way. But now that I know you’ve been using Mrs. Tooth for your dirty work right here at home…there’s no way I’m letting you off.”
“So, Clark family–you’re done for. I swear, I’m taking you all down,” Victoria declared, her voice icy and full of ruthless resolve.
