Seeing her crew had things under control inside, she waved them over to pack the unconscious Angelica into the big suitcase they’d brought. Then, acting like nothing was out of the ordinary, she hauled the heavy suitcase out of the apartment.

Once downstairs, she tapped her wireless earpiece and ordered, “Mission complete. Erase all the surveillance footage of our entry.”

Once he was in the car, Nathan dialed Justin’s number. But no one picked up.

He stormed into Gale Entertainment with his men, but Justin was nowhere to be found. After intimidating the secretary into admitting Justin was at home, Nathan went straight to his house.

When Nathan rang the doorbell, the new butler answered and said, “Mr. Lowe isn’t home. Please head back, Mr. Clark.”

Nathan gave his men a nod, and they brought over a black bag packed full of dollars.

The butler’s eyes sparkled greedily at the sight of all that cash.

Then, he kicked the door open and stormed in with his bodyguards in tow.

The young woman, startled by the intrusion, hurriedly fixed her disheveled clothes and quietly sat off to the side, watching how things would play out.

Nathan could sense Justin’s flippant attitude and didn’t waste any words. “Grab him,” he said coldly.

As the two bodyguards moved in, Justin instantly yelled, “Someone, get in here!”

Justin had already gotten a heads–up from his secretary that Nathan was coming for him, so he was ready for trouble.

Sure enough, as soon as he shouted, all the bodyguards who’d been lying in wait inside the house came charging out.

Nathan only brought eight bodyguards, but Justin had twenty guys ready to go inside.

“Mr. Clark, times have changed. Your family’s barely keeping your head above water, so don’t come here and make trouble for me,” Justin said, brushing off his clothes.

“You and Victoria left Gale Entertainment in shambles, and I haven’t even come after you for payback yet. But now you had the nerve to show up at my door?” he added.

Nathan glanced at the twenty bodyguards closing in, his expression was chilling.

“Since you came knocking, Mr. Clark, I guess I have to protect myself. If you get hurt, don’t blame me. I can’t let my girlfriend see me embarrassed,” Justin said, then ordered, “Take him down.”

Two bodyguards stayed behind to guard Justin, while the other eighteen rushed Nathan and his crew.
