Lexi’s voice was practically buzzing with excitement. “Ms. Binder, Dad just called me. He said he’s willing to sell me his shares!”

Victoria cut her off without hesitation. “It’s a hundred percent a scam.”

Lexi’s voice dropped, sounding a bit disappointed. “Honestly, I kind of figured it might be a trick, but I still want to check it out, just in case he’s actually serious about selling me the shares.”

Victoria chuckled. “Alright, if it’s a scam, that’s perfect. Odds are, Nathan’s behind it. Time to teach him a lesson. Where did Justin want to meet you?”

“At home,” Lexi replied.

Nathan had been waiting inside the Turner family villa for two hours before he finally heard someone at the door.

Soon after, Lexi walked in.

When Lexi spotted Nathan sitting on the sofa, she froze, gripping the strap of her shoulder bag, then turned on her heel to leave.

But it was already too late to leave. Two bodyguards stepped in front of her, blocking her way.

Nathan stood up and walked over to Lexi, speaking in a raspy voice. “Getting to see you is nearly impossible these days. I had no idea where you’d moved to.”

Lexi could tell something was definitely off about Nathan.

His eyes looked strange, and his voice was even weirder. He looked just like a wolf with lust in his

eyes.

Out of the corner of her eye, Lexi spotted Justin and a strange woman sprawled naked in the corner, her pupils dilating in disbelief.

‘Is he… is he planning to get rough with me?‘ she wondered, panic bubbling up inside.

Lexi clenched her fists, trying to keep her cool. “Nathan, we’re done.”

Lexi was on guard, her eyes wary. “Why did you pull all those strings to get Dad to lure me here?”
