Now it was already 8:40. That meant they had twenty minutes left.

But that was just Stephen’s guess. Gary might not be planning to wait until they reached their destination. He could set it off any second now.

Felix hadn’t realized Gary wasn’t just messing with the brakes. The real plan was to make sure the car couldn’t stop, so there’d be no way to disarm the bomb.

Xavier wiped the sweat from his brow. “Felix, do something!”

Jackson, in the car next to them, spoke into the phone again. “Stephen, can you stop Gary?”

Xavier looked like he wanted to say something, but held back. ‘If I expose the plan now, Grandpa will find

Just then, with a loud smack, a drone suddenly crashed down onto the car’s windshield.

The butler’s hands jerked on the steering wheel, making the car swerve dangerously.

Donald was so scared he nearly jumped out of his skin.

Once everyone had calmed down, they finally saw that the drone had a phone strapped to it, and the phone was streaming a video.

On the screen was Gary’s face.

Gary was holding a stylus and a tablet. He quickly scribbled something, then turned the tablet so the screen was facing the camera.

On the screen, it read: [Gerry, you old bastard, you killed Chloe on purpose, didn’t you?]

Felix, Xavier, and Donald all turned to look at Gerry.

The butler, still gripping the wheel, barked, “What the hell are you talking about?”

Donald, desperate to stay alive, completely ignored the butler’s threats.

Seeing Gary hesitate, Donald clung to Felix and Xavier, begging, “They’re with me! The three of us will help you take down this old bastard for good!”

Seeing his youngest son still acting like a pathetic coward, Gerry’s face grew even darker.

Felix immediately yanked Donald’s hand off and snapped, “Uncle Donald, quit spouting crap! Who’s teaming up with you? Grandpa, don’t listen to a word he says!”

Meanwhile, Xavier stayed silent.

Just then, Jackson, riding in the other car, called out, “Gary, please, don’t keep making the same mistakes. I get it, you want to avenge my mom, but she would never want you to go down this road.
